Yeah Im saying its a usage thing..if you play dds every so often you find fcs to be fun because you can get more kills off of them. Its frustrating to people who play often enough though cause you dont want to have to deal with dying to random luck more than you already do with strays and spawns, or the lovely combination of the two. A player who doesnt know what theyre doing too well might shoot at someone who's approaching them and miss miserably cause theyre new, and then when that player gets a cm away for the kill they get another shot to the nose cause of luck. Of course the less skilled player is going to be in favor of a system that benefits them.

1) Teams generally don't rush in TWL-D because rushing is actually a bad strategy unless you're very good at it. Even if you are very good at it, teams that play defensively which are made of skilled players, will usually win regardless. Teams rush in TWDD because they are newbies and they don't know better. It is pretty easy to beat a team that rushes by just playing consistant and defensive. If you don't beat them, that's your fault, it's no fault of full greens.
2) It's true that laggers eat shots. Having full greens doesn't let people lag less. In fact it creates bigger problems. Sure, there's a chance that you may somehow hit a lagger, have them eat the shot, and then pick up a green right away, but there's an even BIGGER chance that you will hit them, and they will turn and kill you instantly before you can get to a green. There's also a bigger chance that because they lag, they will see greens on their screen that no one else sees and will get full charges from out of nowhere to kill you. There's also about the same amount of chance that they will run into a full charge green (that you can see) and kill you, as with you getting one yourself, thereby cancelling out the effect completely.
I'm not wrong, it's two different views on this problem.

Like I said. People don't rush in LD cause it's reckless.
In all my years of dueling, I've never seen of any "invisi greens" that all of you are crying about.
And I get killed by FC greens like once every 6 dds (12 rounds), it isn't such a big problem like you make it sound like, if someone gets a green, stay away for a sec, don't rush in like a stupid rusher. Problem solved.
Read the posts I made earlier.

Bitterness is like cancer. It eats upon the host. But anger is like fire. It burns it all clean.
well generally you wouldnt see an invisigreen or else it wouldnt be INVISIBLE. Trying to say youve never seen someone get a green that wasnt on your screen over the course of a couple years is ridiculous though since it happens all the time due to the way greens are placed on this game

Just so people know, looking at the people voting in the poll, its being taken to consideration who's gonna actually care about the vote and who is just voting to screw up the ratio. I'm 99.9% certain I'll just remove the full greens after TWL and then after a month or so, if there is a resounding cry for people wanting their greens back, then it'll come back.
Pro's
- Add's randomness to the game
- Additional strategy (run for greens constantly?)
Con's
- Makes it harder to detect cheaters (If there are no FC greens in TWDD, and you're speccing someone and they get a full charge, well duh, they are cheating)
- Add's randomness/luck to the game (I view this as a con, because why add randomness anyways?)
If you have any to add to either side, feel free to do so if you haven't already...
Conclusion: Why add randomness to the game at the cost of making it uncertain that someone is or isn't giving themselves FC greens? In addition to that, TWDD is sometimes considered to be the preperation for TWLD, and although not as serious as TWLD, it wouldn't hurt to make settings similiar to the real thing.

i say keep the FC only because there is that sense of fear in rushing. You dont know if the person your rushing is about to green, so it keeps the game at a fair advantage. Yay....

you in no way, shape or form defended why you think greens should remain. unless of course, you expect people to subscribe to the notion that simply because greens are a part of the game of subspace, they should be a part of our divisional and league system. that's a pretty silly notion.
Hmm, if we were to use all the capabilities that subspace has to offer, our ships wouldn't be limited now would they? That was a weak argument Ara, I have no idea where that came from.
I could care less whether or not full greens are or are not in games, just keep the two leagues (DD and LD) the same in regards to them.
well paul, i don't know if that was necessarily his argument. that's just all i could manage to come up with when i tried to figure out what he was getting at.
