now, how many times exactly do i have to say no for all you idiots to make you understand that this idea will not work at the current state of the game? because you fools keep bringing up this topic over and over again.
first of all, basing would die. trust me, it would fucking die or be even more inactive than it is at the moment. it would be near impossible (not to mention frustrating as hell, almost as frustrating as playing against me and my lag) to find an opponent with 7 or 8 players available for a basing match if the rosters were limited to, let's say, 25 to 30 members. and before one of you morons reply and make yourselves look like complete fools, basing with 5 or 6 players sucks -- and whoever thinks something else should just jump off the tallest building in their neighborhood, break their neck and die.
if there should be a roster cap of some sorts, it should be much more complex than the one you fools are suggesting. it should include features such as these:
- increased roster capacity for squadrons that have been around for a longer period of time thus promoting squad longevity. roster capacity limit would increase every month (or every three weeks) and there would be a limit of how much extra roster space you can earn. currently there aren't that many squads that stick around season and after season, and they deserve the credit.
- older members of the squadron (>180 or >240 days) would not take much (if even any) of the roster capacity limit, especially if the player has not played a single twd game in more than two weeks. this would allow old members of the squadron to stay loyal without forcing the captain(s) to axe the player in order to get some extra roster space for new members. not to mention this would encourage players to stick around in one squadron instead of hopping around like a rabbit on crack. in fact we could even give a shiny medal for players that are loyal to their squads. several different colors depending on how long they have been on the squadron. the fuck like i know what they should look like.
- new players (meaning genuine new twd players, players that have never been on a twd squad before on any alias) would not take anything off the roster capacity limit until they have been on the squad (or on multiple squads) for a total amount greater than 30 days. this would encourage squadrons to recruit public players or elimination players that have never played twd before, as they could increase their roster members without using up their valuable roster capacity limit.
just some of the several ideas that one could implement to the roster capacity idea. just setting a limit of 25 (or 30, or even 35) would fucking fail due to the zone being inactive.
just my two cents.
(looks like i used the words "fool", "idiot", "retard" and "moron" way too much, sorry for this. i love you guys!)
