Holy fuck you're an idiot.

TWLB is considered the newbie league, and with good reason.

After getting the basic jist of basing down, you'll be fine. You'll get tossed in a spider, and you'll throw up a wall of fire in the general direction of the enemy. A spider in a group of spiders doesn't need any aim, thats already been proven. Newbies continue to join TWLB because it's an easier leageu than the other 2 to get in, theres always new squads coming up with a willingness to teach you how to base, anf there aren't even 16 teams that can, so it's not hard to become decent in. Basing has MORE lag than the other 2 leagues put together.

i c, u know nothing about basing. actually newbs cant even spider it needs actually mroe aiming. in wb u shoot 5 bullets and ok bad aim but lucky if 1 hit. in spider u have to hit all 3-5 bullets. and none of newbs can shark or ter or jav. and wb is easy ship but they are useless in wb in base that why all newbs play spiders but it doesnt mean they can do it well. and if laggot is sharking those reps doesnt work against bullets and then bullets kill other teammates. and if ter is lagging example ckpoon it just harms own teamates. and iv tried use lag in basing it doesnt help but if i d/l while jd or dd its so easy

Ok, I won TWL-B Season 5 as a captain of Light, so I think I have a little credible knowledge in basing.

You have no clue what you're talking about.

1. Your Grammar ability is quite unpleasant, and makes any reading of your text seem like a massive task
2. Warbird is NOT an easy ship. Especially to master. The difference between an elite warbird and a "good" player is the difference between winning a game and losing it.
3. If you have laggy sharks, who know what they're doing, then you come out with really good sharks that are hard to kill. If you don't believe me, take Fireballz for an example.
4. If you lag during a warbird match, since you have 3 lagouts, there are many negative factors. A: You could possibly force a substitution during the match because you lagged out. B: If you're the one who substituted a player, then your deaths will be transferred into 10 deaths. C: 1/2 of your hits result into duds or no kills. D: Players will most likely shun away from you, and play it safe because you're so laggy.

You sir, are baseless in your arguments.

lol i don't think u are baser but anyway WildFire won 2 times base champ ok twd wasnt same kind of league as it's right now but anyway i know what im talking about. and about wb or javing if i download i wont get lagout but i lag that much ppl can't kill me. i have tried it 2 times both times it worked

Jebu, you're not exactly known as a vet in basing. I have played sevearl twl season in different ships and played for basically every big name basing squad in recent memory with only 1 or 2 exceptions. Spider does need more aiming, when alone. But when spiders group you just through up a clusterfuck of red and it works, the proof is everywhere. The wb is not useless in base. Pallies - one of the best basing squads of all time, uses a wb in there 3 1 1 lineup and have even used 3 wbs in twl and won before. Saying people lagging doesn't effect basing is the single most untruce comment ever posted on this board. Lag is a large factor in basing games and has even been a massive factor in several big basing games (playoffs) and any baser whos seen any championship match or any 2d match will tell you the very same.

I think ur rite on a bunch of things and wrong on some too. Jebu is a basing vet, he mite not get the recognition taht some ppl get such as urself, but like he said he won 2 TWLB titles, he was playing base for years now, so he isnt exactly a noob to basing, although some of his points make him sound it. Lag is an advantage as u said, but it can be a disadvantage like jebu said. A laggy shark does eat more shots then a non-laggy one, but he also reps to late sometimes, letting a few leaking bullets fly by him killing the cram, or something of that sorta, or even a rocketing jav bomb will get by his rep bc he's so late on it bc of lag. So its not always good, but its not always bad. 2D plays the ships that matter, he dont play shark so thast why his good points in lag show more then bad. As for the warbird thing, i think he meant alot of duelers (twdd) cant basebird to well.

Wait , so if 5 spids is easily defeatable, and doesn't force teams to play it. Then why do we even argue about having a max. Also, if it's boring just don't play it right? how come 4 spid max is winning wtf?

yeah, i think we should have an end date set for the polls. otherwise whoever controls that can just wait til their picks are winning, heck, i would.

anywho, people say 5 spids are defeatable, and then they all lost to spastic.

then people say "oh, we didn't have our best or it would have happened", whatever. . .

my big issue, aside from 5 spiders being boring as boring can be, is that i think alot of teams get pressured into playing 5 spiders cuz their opponent is. not the top teams maybe no, but i know last season on melee we played half our games with 5 spids cuz we were expecting the other side to do the same. not saying it's right, but i think that happens.

if you know the other side has 4 spiders, chances are you'll do the same without much complaint?
