what was pointed about before....only 14 squads for twlb.. not definite but thats what we were leaning towards last meeting with pusher.

what i learned from doing the draft tourny schedule: you should stick to a number that has a root of 2 (2, 4, 8, -->16<--). there are more people in tw now than last season. there is more interest in twl that last season. put a roster cap of 30 or so onto twl and there will be more than enough people to support a 16 team league (especially considering that there are 16 squads in the other 2 leagues and i think that they should really correspond to one another).

It's too late for any new basing squads to pop up and qualify before TWL starts, but I agree that it would be best to have the same number of squads in 'LB as in the rest of the TW Leagues.

I also agree that 30 would be a good roster limit for TWL and also TWD. If the site would put a real limit of 30 people, I think it would make captains recruit a lot more carefully, and would probably raise the overall level of competetion in the leagues.

I tink this TWLB will be exciting. Of course u'll have the obvios contenders that are tehre year in year out (pallies/diso) and the 2nd year squads (mambo/spastic) and the new squads who are obvioulsy powerful (synd/incuria) but even with 16 teams u have to watch out if 1 of those top squads have a bad showup any other squad could take advantage and atleast make it close. Even someone like NS recently been playing some decently competative games. I dont think theyll make it tho. But ppl like tanked, basingcrew (if make it), Sk8 (will make it), Grapevine and so on if they get a nice show up could very well pull some good upsets. DO i see them winning the league? NO probably not, but i can see them winning some games they arent suppose to.

As for TWLJ. u got the Favorites who will make playoffs like expected. U have 4 garenteed squads in (diso/pallies/sk8/Ancients)

Synd- very well could win TWLJ this season. ANd if they dont i'd expect nothing less then conference finals for them. PPl like Fbz,rough,amp,strike,spam,2d,demonfaze A lineup consisting of any 5 of them is gonna be tough to tame. Not to mention there teaming from eyars experience together.

Shriek- 1 of the obvious favorites this season in TWLJ for they had a sure win last season cept a dissolve midseason. They got most of there pilots back and i dont see much change this season. They'll be ther ein the end. There weird/laggy/rushing style is hard for anyone to adapt to but it sometimes results in 1 person getting alot of deaths fast. In my mind they'll finish 2nd or worst unless Merce rejoins. If merce gets back to Shriek i beliieve they'll finish 1st. Ruine,annul,cent,dark!,lordy, exquisite, evasion, Merce (if rejoins) is 1 hella lineup. Plus they are very active and that is gonna help them come playoff time.

-Final- : Loaded with many skilled javs and have a nice chance again, to win it all. I do tho feel there inactiveness will hurt them come TWL. Even if they get the important ppl active there lack of practice will hurt them vs squads like Shriek/synd and other top squads.

Pirates- With ppl like Crystal,herc,kim,CC,Jamil,chance,sky Pirates have a good chance of making playoffs in twlj. As u can see tho they dont have much depth in javs. They'll need good attendence by the 7 javs listed above. Although they do have great teamwork together which will help them perform good. I see playoffs for these guyss, but i dont see to far into playoffs.

Mambo-With Lemon,M_M, Appleseed and a few other guys who are medocre javs who team well Mambo will be capable of a few upsets this season. They will need those 3 guys above to show up eveyr game tho.

Fire-Need to get more active to probably even make TWLJ. IF they do make TWLJ i dont even see them making TWLJ playoffs. THey are more of a TWLD team. They'll need ppl like Cuji/Jack to have excelent games each week. I do think Nickname will be the suprise of the season tho in TWLJ where he never erally got respect b4.

Thats 10 teams in TWLJ. Obvioulsy tehre will be 6 more. I think that Tanked/Grapevine are sure ins also. As for the 4 more spots its almost anyone's game. Squads like Spastic have a nice top lineup who can make TWLJ, Same with Egyptian/rapid. All those final spots are gonna be tough onnes to keep and tough to do well in TWLJ. Again same as in basing the field has a wide variety of skilled squads that anyone can be upset at any time or any day.

My predictions tho are for top 5:

As for the squad who will suprise ppl thoe most this season. Its the squad who suprises ppl every season bc they are alawys underrated. It will be SK8 who this season will make TWLB and b ea 3 league squad. Playoffs in both TWLD/TWLJ and a good chance of upseting the top teams in TWLD.

This is incorrect, I don't know if you've noticed how much the points seem to fluctuate in TWBD, but if you did, you'd know that any squad could get right up there with points. Squads are becoming easier and easier to establish, a couple of these people just need a leader to get them going, and POOF we have yet another competative squad in our midst.

I'm only going to comment on my squad.

TWLB - I think we'll make playoffs. I hope we take the title, but I won't get all egotistical and say a championship is a sure thing.

TWLJ - Our main goal is simply to qualify for TWLJ this season. Our teamwork is rapidly improving, and we've picked up a few good javs recently. We've had a resident jav powerhouse for quite some time now, and I want to mention him in particular, simply because Cig left him out. B.Rabbit will most definitely be one of our starters. Other than qualifying, I think we'll take whatever we can get come crunch time. Playoffs would be sweet, but again, I'm not going to get all egotistical and guarantee anything.

TWLD - We're a two league squad.

Thanks to the adition of jr5 and fit of rage, Disoblige will have less trouble this season then they did last, getting to the finals. (They had no trouble last season.) If warportal stays around they will take the season 9-0. (Asssuming 7 teams per confrence and 3 playoff games.)

Mambo are underrated by any standards. Aside from lacking a serious starting terr, (sorry superstar ) they have are shoe ins for the finals. Assuming they face spastic in the semi-finals and not disoblige, they will go to the end.

Spastic has a strong line up and all but has recently lost key players. Pure_Luck, jr5, and pyroblast rounded the spastic lineup out. Not to mention the absence of a certain jav, (aen|ma.) If/when they face mambo in the semifinals they will lose 2:1, if the 3 round game system is kept.

Rejected Basers will take 4th only because Pallies will choke. With RB's top laggers...I mean players on, they can and will make it at least to the first round of the playoffs.

Pallies will take 5th place primarily because of the delay in TWL. TWL will start late, Pallies player's will stop showing up, and they will lose early in the playoffs. They will play better than last season, though, thanks to some of their more recent recruits (blood, koan, castro, et cetera.)

But then again, I don't know shit.

Exuse me, but I seem to recall this squad called Elusive dissolving and all. And then they reformed as some squad that's not half as good called "syndicate" where their starting terr is jard. They aren't contenders, they don't count.

And since they won the overall game, instead of just losing a round, they still win.

And stab, even without jr5, they will still win. Spastic isn't as stong as they were. Disoblige has a decent enough jav to take on superstar, diso wins the season easily, spastic loses, get over it.
