hirluin and hannes will have trouble playing in leagues with their lag. never heard of nitti/ignorance or gamma? Melee isn't a top basing squad so i dunno about those recruits...MoG is decent spider/shark.those wins u had were over very average basing squads ranked 8,11 not ranked on my list. I don't see any wins over the top squads. Sk8 even beat ya guys. Mambo destroyed u. I ranked diso 4th which was pretty high so i don't know why you said i dissed them or something. And i said if they were active they would be top 3.

I dunno the lag limits for TWL but i think Stayon will exceed them or atleast he should sometimes with the way he spikes. but on topic, ya u'll make TWLJ and probably do pretty decent in it. Much like mambo cept mambo has more power.

You'll probably get in TWLJ but you won't win. And yeah, Diso won TWLJ last year, but I wouldn't say it with "storm". The other squads just failed to realize how good our few players were (that were playing LJ). We didn't need more then ~8 ppl and we won [not meant to brag]

Personnaly, i think basers are much less aggressive and self centered than duelers, that's why they like to talk about it. A base team is a TEAM! Compared to twdd, in which SOMETIMES(important), one player can lead you far. If you remember well your starts in subspace, the ship in which everyone usually begin and play the most in pub is warbird because you acn have fun in that ship alone something you can't do if you take the terrier and some of them tend to be boring by the long time a spider take killing enemies. Beeing an old dueler, i like basing more because i serioiusly think those squads have a better "chemical" in between the team. My last presence in a dd squad really proved that theory.
As for my predictions, I'd say shriek, -f-, syndicate, and such will all do twld, twld and twlb (but shriek unless they start playing) playoffs without any problems. I seriously think shriek should base since they have like 3/4 of a really good lineup. If avalonian stay (which i'm not sure since they dissolve so often), I think they could do something in twld and maybe finish last in twlb since the compition is praticly non-present.

I'm guessing you meant duelers the second time. And I agree with you on most accounts. Dueling may take more "skill over time" but it's a heck of a lot harder to get 8 guys to play as one in different ships than it is 4/5 guys to fly around in a warbird.

Several different basing teams have a chance for twlb chapionship. Being the nerd I am I think each of those 6 or 7 of those squads have a 10-20% chance to win, think Mambo has highest of like 20% chance. I think the top 8 players on RB can take most of the top 8 players in the other squads but not all. So it really looks like whose online for certain games and a bit of luck will determine the champs. Hopefully our depth will help enough as a deciding factor.

Twl Predictions

well.. as Fit said its TWL is near. he made those TWLB predictions and I'll make my predictions on TWLD and TWLJ:

In TWLD the already qualified squads are: Disoblige and Pallies (melee should be but they dont have 50% of last season's roster)

1- Fire: If they get active which they arent now they will be TOP. They could even win TWLD. Ripper, Vihta, Jack, Deez Nuts and Ruby can beat anyone with some teaming going on.

2- Shriek: I dont think they are strongest team but a squad which has Aerin, eRad, Fission, Stripes and Veri will do TWLD playoffs for sure.

3- Grapevine: Randedl got some good wbs who'll do damage. Tyson is great and followed by other 4 consistant wbs will do great.

4- Dragonguard: This wb only squad is trying to get on top. Leaded by MetalKid they will get playoffs. Their roster changes too damn much so I wont name anyone else except for Bike who can do nice too.

5- Syndicate: They arent active just like Fire but they got a hell of a roster. The most complete squad in tw can win TWLD if they do an effort.

6- FINAL-: This squaddie leaded by Disqualifier seems to be sleeping but when they'll wake up they'll do a great damage. another squad that can win TWLD for sure with Foxy, Sika, download, destroy and saiyan.

7- Pirates: They are TWLD squad for sure. It wont be easy to get playoffs but they'll do good.

8- Rapid: This weird squad is winning some surprising dd's and if they keep it they'll get TWLD for sure and be a surprise.

9- Egyptian: They dont have close to last season's line but still zapata, tntkilla and g2 kick u can lead them to good in TWLD.

10- Ancients: They got some good wbs and they'll get TWLD.

11- PUMA: if they dont get eliminated for all the times Ignite used players double squadding, with this TWD system and the newbies that they constantly play, they'll reach TWL.

12 - Sk8

13, 14 - I'd bet on Avalonian and British squad.

(this isnt a ladder, squads positioned as they came up to my mind)


Lets talk about TWLD now. Already qualified squads: Disoblige, Pallies, Ancients and Sk8.


1- Shriek: if they get merce and ruine back they'll give no chance.

2- Syndicate: In my oppinion they'll play TWLJ final with Shriek.

3- -FINAL-: With Sika, download, aprix, joe and destroy. well.. I dunno. they can win too.

4- Pirates: They got at least 5 great javs but their subs arent THAT good. if they show their best line they'll kick ass if not.. I doubt.

5- Mambo: this base squad will get some good scores and get TWLJ if Lemon, appleseed, MM and B.rabbit play

6- Tanked: they got some consistant and regular javs. TWLJ squad, prolly not playoffs. they can be a surprise.

7- Grapevine: They got some good javs but not 5 good javs. They will get TWL on this ship too.

8- Spastic: They are playing in a smart way and lead by NOCKM they can reach TWLJ.

9- Egyptian: They didnt make it last season but im pretty sure Nasir is smart enough to make it this year.

10- Rapid: Not as good in javs as in wbs they can get TWLJ.

11, 12- I'd bet on... INTERFACE (OH YEA PAYPAL PERISH) and Puma (lameness)

Dab, basing is easier on an individual level, but to build a basing team is harder than a dueling team.

lunch, I believe RB's top 8 can put up a struggle against anyone, but "take" them, I doubt.


as for my prediction... Pallies will kick ass during the season and choke in the playoffs. And much like mattey, I don't care about other squads.
