I think miau could roll out of bed after a long night of tequila and Jonas-ty, turn on the spaceship game for the first time in 2 weeks, deal with glare and a hangover, and outshark everyone but Pallies and Spastic sharks, Mootland Farmer, and possibly a2m (only if he decides to die when hes out of reps instead of trying to bomb nme from lower). I might be tempted to throw Credit Account and jr5 (if hes not on spastic at this hour) in there too. Windy is way inactive and mantra is a loser.

What does this mean? gnome145 needs to make a comeback.

i wish people would stop mistaking lag as skill... if i could eat 5 bullets every life and ram mines, and be a eurotrash lagger, i'd be the best shark you'd ever see. But serring as how 50 ms doesn't let you do any of that it's pure skill. I am not whining about laggers being skilled, i'm whining about people thinking lag is a skill. And no one can argue that being laggy in a shark doesn't help you. How do you think Mootland farmer and hannes are so good? Because they eat and and mine where you can't see. It's good they do that, i'm glad they help their respective teams, but give me a non laggy skilled shark who never lags out anyday over a laggy pice of shark anyday.

Hannes isnt as laggy as he was b4, he rarely has over .1% ploss.

NN- it isnt alla bout individual skills I think Hannes is close to a2m, and i think MoG is as good if not better then Adman is in shark. I also think Jebu is as good as nimrook in jav. Rosstones in bird is tuff to. And tops yet Hirluin owns both in TWD where his lag allows him to play.
I would prolly have to agree there spiders are stronger then ours tho, but in that case we could play 5 spiders =) I think our top lineup of spiders tho is pretty tuff. Or atleast tuff enuff.

Hmm, I see no problem w/ laggy sharks. It's a simple tradeoff - you either rep well or lag well :P. Personally, I loved my 10ms ping when the server was back in Finland. Nowadays...well...let's just say that it sucks to see your team die around you after what appeared to be a well timed rep (heck, I rep before the jav even shoots). Nowadays I got pings around 130-150ms with ploss varying from 0.1 to 2.0 depending on where I'm playing from. All I can say is that there's no way anyone would pick massive lag over 10ms ping. Saying that someone is good because of lag is rather misleading since they'd probably play _better_ with low ping. The problem is equally w/ the spids, too. There's no point in wasting more than 2 bullets (if you don't double-tap already, start doing it now) per shark rep and the fatties are usually down in couple o' more once they're out, lag or not. Once you stop wasting bullets on reps it's really no issue whether they take 2 or 5 bullets to kill. Just my 2c.

individual sharking skill is important, however, the cooperation between the shark pair is more important. you can throw 2 top sharks in a team, but if they don't cooperate well, the team can still lose.

I couldn't agree more with everything you said, Windy. I've also had the best of both worlds. When I was back up in Rochester at school, I had a rock steady 10ms with hardly ever any packetloss. Now I'm home on dialup and I average 130ms with .1 to .3% packetloss. I was a better player all around, both in base and in duels, when I wasn't laggy. The only people who benefit entirely from lag, and don't have to deal with the downside, are those assfaces who lagcheat. They crank up their lag when, and only when, the time is right. Otherwise, they have the advantage of a low ping, plus they use that low ping to defend themselves when they're accused of lagcheating.
