I think Epi proved there was atleast ENUFF evidence to say that ther was "feeding" so to say. But i must say tanked was worthy of the spot even w/o "feeding" take away them games and see what the solution is. I mean SURE the last game mite not of mattered, but even the 2 b4 that they mite make the diff, and Melee mite make it over them anyway. Im not sure? I dont know if they "fed" or not of interface, i do tho think it was lame, on a squad like Shriek who was on the bottom side of the TWBD ladder i was keeping an eye on all squads rite around us. SUre we made it with room to spare so im not sure what happend at the end of the hour.

I must tho say that i agree with Genes on some points. I mean Sure Tanked took some EZ wins at the last day of TWBD when they mite of needed it which is smart, but u look @ basingcrew and maybe even Sk8's last few games. Many were vs "ez" squads so to say. Even tho Quiron played enuff ppl u knew they would lose form the beginjing, i myself feel this is a "fed" win even tho it wasnt a givup. I think TWD is the problem and Tanked took advantage of the problem, cept they did it on the last part of the last day. Other squads did it the whole TWD season and nothing was done. IF Tanked is punished like this, u should go through the WHOLE TWD season and pull out wins that every squad qualifying got and remove them points. Just like u should only pull out Tanked's "fed" wins and let them be after that.

Another situationl on that last gameu witnessed Push mite be since JD is more important to Interface, they mite of needd the ppl, so they LEFT the BD. I mean if my squad was in contention for a TWLJ spot i certainly wouldnt stay for the TWBD game when uits close to the nd of the hour. I mean i'd tell them to come to TWJD and give the TWBD win away. Its not the 1st forfeit win givin and it wont be the last, like esc and others said. Dont give points away for Forfiets, or give 1 point fo rthere time. If u dont give points then ppl wont do them.

If my squad were only in contention for a TWLJ spot, I wouldn't have accepted a TWBD game in the first place, or even remotely considered playing a TWBD game on the final day of contention at all, for that matter.

Did you even read THE PUSHER's or Epinephrine's posts at all, or were they just too long for your attention span to handle? Thus far, you've largely ignored the vast majority of the points they've presented, yet you remain perfectly content to regurgitate the same things in your first post here over and over again. It is quite tiresome.

Your annoyance aside, I still agree with Cops and many many others that there should be 16 squads in every league, including TWLB. As it is, basing is unquestionably the least monopolized league of the three. It's almost anyone's game, and it seems just about any squad could beat any other on any given Sunday, with some luck and circumstance. Why, then, is it the league chosen to be limited? I know there are fewer squads on the basing ladder than any other, but that is more a function of the higher number of players required for a quality BD game (6 at the very least, should be 7 or 8 - whereas the other two leagues can have 4-player games just fine) than it is for lack of interest / # of competitive squads in the league. Why not just put it back where it was? :\

Now it's time to let the shit settle and see what happens, most people have made some pretty good arguements on what they think happened so whether they make it 16 teams or not there's no need to continue on with this debate.

Personally I'd like to see Rosstones Nitti and maybe a few other people repersenting Tanked have an appeal to let 16 squads in TWLB with the TWL Ops, because ramming our opinions into them isn't helping. I'll try and see if I can arrange something with PUSHER but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Perhaps I didn't make it clear, but this was not a matter of Tanked breaking a non-existant rule. It was a matter of what that Tanked captain was trying to accomplish by inviting squads to participate in what amounts to throwing wins to gain an advantage. Granted, this is something that I'm am positive other squads have done in the past. Just not in such a bold and poorly thought out manner. The offending squad captain got caught, because he was entirely too desperate to ensure a spot in TWL-B. Ironically Tanked would have made it into TWL-B even if they hadnt have played those three matches against Interface. Much like what happened with Bohemians last season, a squad captain made a bad decision, and it ended up costing his squad a chance to enter TWL fairly.

This is what got us kicked out of twlb. Why ?? Our captain tried to set up feeds??? HOW IS THAT ILLEGAL? Look, if feeding and getting fed is illegal, then what did we do wrong??? We attempted to feed?? You have to be out of your fucking mind to kick someone out of twlb for attempting to feed. This is a bullshit reason u kick someone out of twlb. "Attempting to feed". Some people that actually understand why we got kicked out can agree completely with me at the insanity of this. WE DIDNT EVEN FEED, WE TALKED ABOUT FEEDING, so what we did was way too bad to let us into twlb. I find this really hard to believe.

i think burnt's problem with the decision, and mine as well since i agree with him to some extent, is that there were many squads abusing the ladder system, in many different ways. tanked had to get all their laming in last minute because they were actually playing against good squads during qualification and not laming the system like many other squads. an unfair playing field breeds cheaters, i hope league staff takes a good look at coming up with some new rules for next TWL that require a certain number of games to have been played vs squads in that finish in the top 16.
