TWL Current State (week 4)

My thoughts on diso in twlb:

I doubt they have to win all 7 games to move into playoffs, as there is the possibility that 6 or 5 wins could do it (leaving them at 5-5 or 6-4) It really will matter as to who they end up tied with. Now Shriek and Mambo have already beaten them, so if tied they'd get in on the who won when they played each other technicality. However if Disoblige can get wins over Incuria (week6) (and they should be rolling by then, with a possible win over -F- and a definate win over Melee) and Syndicate (week 8) Then they'll be in pretty good position. Those are the key weeks for disoblige, and i really feel that they can't lose more than 1, possibly two games. THey've got Pallies in week 7 -Final- in week 4 and wr in week 9, they must win at least 2 of those if they're to have a shot imo.

My thoughts on Rapid in TWLJ:

Rapid is going to have to beat out one of Pirates, DragonGuard, Grapevine or possibly Tanked to get there hands on the last playoff spot.

They play Elenya next week and they'll win, but then they'll lose to Shriek making them 2-3 with a probable minus rating. (currently 24 points under even, they'll need to win by a big margin over elenya and lose by a low margin to shriek, and i don't see it happening.) They've then got key matches vs Grapevine, Ancients, Pallies, DragonGuard and Tanked. assuming they beat tanked and ancients, and lose to gv and pallies they'll be 4-5, needing for sure a win against dg. Rapid is capable of upseting GV too though, which could lead them to a 6-4 finish. If they can beat GV and DG, with easy wins also awaiting with ancients, and tanked, they'd have beaten 3 out of the 4 teams aiming for the lower playoff spots and would be sitting pretty. THats what they have to do, lets see if they can do it.

I agree, I'm counting on Tanked to take out Rapid.

And as for DG's LJ schedule after this week, I'm going to be watching close for Tanked and Ancients to both pull away with wins vs. DG - I can't wait for those, they're going to be important. I truly think DG will go at most 2-1, and realistically/hopefully 1-2

tanked has had a problem getting their key players to show up for LJ's i think. not sure though. that's what l to the k told me when he was trying to excuse his loss in week 2 so rapid has a shot there. but i agree, tanked is better on paper (or html)

Awesome, yes, it's true... tanked had those problems in the first two weeks, but I don't think that that happened yesterday.

You could win all 3 leagues, realisitically you only really have a good shot in 2. Mind you, you could lose all 3 as well.

Pallies has only a real shot in basing. Both wb and javs will depend on too many factors in order for them to win. Thats my view, although if its not diso, i would prefer them being winners.

Pallies have a good shot at basing, and they have the talent for dueling, i don't think they have the teamwork for javelins though.

And they need to play there real #1 line in ld, not these phony lines they're using, but i'm going to guess that'll end come playoffs.

as for diso, displaced is making me a rich man in twlm, twlj you're solid (obviously) but you really need to turn it around for lb.

the best part of the diso palleis story, was the twlj game last week. Half the players for each team were newer players (i can't get the damned lineups because the twl site won't let you see pastgames once it puts up the next weeks games, which is uber gay, someoen fix that (castro)) but almost none of the players had been with either team for long.

You can get them, you just have to click on the squad, then click on the league that you want (on their lil squad tab bar) and there u have the history!

i hope head to head plays a role in who gets in playoffs, because currently the rankings are based solely on +/-, which is retarded. (of course i didn't take the time to check out the rules before the league started, so i'll put up with it if that was something that could have been brought up)

Decypha started and got 0-5. Mantra-Slider subbed in for him and remained alive till the end with a 5-4 rec. Desperate also played.
