    APPEAL - Thunder v Marksmin ; TWLB Week 1

    Marksmin would like to appeal the week 1 lb game vs Thunder, due to us changing ships to counter Ease only to find out those ships can't attach. The ship we are talking about is Lancaster. This fucked our whole game plan up, which was start with spider line, and if it doesn't work change to specials to counter Ease. We got blown out because of this, 15-0. If the ship would have worked we may have come back in the game to make an impact, but unfortunately this was not the case.

    We would like to replay this match if possible, and scratch the score from the records. Thank you.

    yes,agree. I switched to lanc only to spend 30 sec getting prized reps and realizing I couldn't attach. plz reference our last bd against them we ran a lanc and did way better than we ever have and contained ease wb more than ever (granted hulk was terr but even so), and it could have made a big difference in this game. am not gonna bitch abt this 2 much its whatev and I just want to say may piece and its highly unlikely we win either way but in terms of running a league correctly this game shud b replayed.

      Probably should've been a little more testing done before the season started. All good, week 1 is a good time to get shit figured out as well I suppose.

        the lancaster was added after we had like 13 min 30 seconds in a 15-0 rd

          It actually was not, it was added around the 8-9 min juncture. I'm sure the staff can check on that.

            Furthermore, If wb is allowed why is lanc not? Either pull specials out, or make them 1 per team.

                Sorry for issues that arose during your TWLB match.

                We were unaware this bug existing with Lancaster and will have it fixed it for next weekend, but as far as your appeal is concerned the match was extremely one-sided and we are having a hard time seeing how one ship change would have changed how the game played out as Marksmin lost by 14 minutes and 21 seconds. This appeal is on hold for now until all TWL operators have voted on it. However, we can guarantee a replay if Thunder is willing to have a rematch out of goodwill.

                As an added note to this thread, Violence is requesting to replay their TWLB match against Spider. The game itself ran fine and had no issues, but Marksmin did not add their full lineup on time and started with missing members which lead to a poor start. We do not mind replaying this match, but only if both teams agree to replay it as no rules were broken.

                    As a side note, not related to this match, Spider has agreed to replay Marksmin in TWLB. This game will be replayed in the coming weeks when time slots allow it.

                    Thunder has yet to respond whether they wish to replay this match, but the appeal will be dealt with on Monday.

                      thx for all the quick responses turban...

                      i want 2 reiterate that the one BD in which we ran a lanc vs Thunder we nearly won and contained ease to 7 TEK: http://twd.trenchwars.org/showgame/90100808

                      in every other BD against thunder that features ease in wb, we lose 15-1 or 15-2 and he averages double the TeK. though unlikely, this is p solid evidence that it is not outside the realm of possibility that we could have won this game vs thunder had we been able to utilize the lanc. and im not sure how the tie breakers work in this league, but in the event that we ended up in a tiebreaker situation w/ thunder in order to make the playoffs, id imagine that head2head time differential would come into play, meaning our inability to use the lanc is putting us at a huge disadvantage.

                            If Lancaster was really a part of your plan you would have tried it before it was 13-0. The scorebox shows when the switch took place. I dont really care but that game was a huge waste of time for us
