unfortunately i wasnt calling the shots, but ur 100% rite. banks wanted me 2 come support his appeal, so in doing so ive just tried to point out that generally when dealing with proceedings in a league such as this, formalities take precedent over assumptions.. the assumption being that we wouldnt have made a 15-2 comeback after switching to lanc... which, while highly unlikely, is still an assumption. but again its whatevs and im not personally going to give a fuk if the appeal is denied, so, am sorry if ive let u down banks.

It's all good dude. Just a shame losing like that. Yes we should've changed to specials to counter sooner, unfortunately as a cap i dont get the cap spot in TWL, so i guess it is what it is. Besides, lanc didnt work anyway.

to be fair turban has talked to me and is trying to resolve this now. I understand ur anger jb I was mad too. We shud get this appeal I think as it has been confirmed no paladen captain ever submitted the Cap and Assis spots and Undercut added them himself. I appreciate he did this as I was not aware we as a squad had to do this. The issue is he never got in touch with me to tell us who was on that list and the link to the rosters does not show the assis and cap spots. I had zero clue I could click on those black names at bottom to see the squad rosters. Turban explained that after my bewilderment by me today. It was not clear to paladen where the assis and cap twl positions were. I assumed sawyer on the list but we never submitted a list and were not gotten in touch with after they changed it themselves. That AND the bot glitch locking out all sub spots other than myself I feel should make this game a replay.

I honestly feel EVERY game affected early by these bots for every squad should be replayed to make this fair.

All this bias and partial considering case by case is not good and will leave people unhappy. Redo all the games affected for every squad please.

Sigh, locking the thread without waiting for logs from undercut, just to now say Undercut has no logs and he made the assistant cap list himself? This shouldn't be a big deal... my main concern was figuring out how Jessup got involved in this misunderstanding, not if the appeal is granted or not.

I get staff is dealing with a lot of changes, and bot issues, and website issues, but accept *some* responsibility for whatever you are responsible for, whether that leads to an appeal being granted or not. Also, yeah, maybe you'd actually avoid shit like this if you didn't discriminate on who you hire for staff...

I didn't just assume Jessup was lying, and even *IF* he was, if staff left a loophole somewhere that someone can abuse? that's on you.. that's why you investigate it and patch it up.

Jebass claims he did tell undercut. I was not told by jebass. A big miscommunication here .

The fact still remains though the bot made me alone have to sub in game and no other player could do the commands. There was an active bot glitch that did affect this game. It ruined my game for me for sure. I still feel staff shud just replay all the games affected by this for every squad.

I AM RETRACTING THIS APPEAL-

I STILL FEEL ALL GAMES WITH BOT ISSUES AT START OF TWL SHOULD ALL BE REPLAYED.

Allowing some to do so and other not to seems wrong. We WERE affected by this. My personal game was ruined by it as I had to play and type in highly competitive match and got killed 4 or 5 times trying.


Also to any people using the argument Marksmin will always beat paladen so any appeal should be never granted with us involved. That is totally NOT how to treat ANY game ever by Operation Staff.. especially with a a bot glitch issue. No matter what the squad is or who is on the roster. Paladen should have same rights as any squad like Rage or Thunder ect..

I had no clue you could click on the bootm tabs to reveal a roster. I am not very computer literate. I am very mad at jebass right now too. He failed to communicate to the entire squad.. just did it and logged off and told zero caps or anyone. All TWL seasons before this one used the twd roster as a basis to go off of for assis/cap spots. I thought it was the same. I did not read the fine print but to me it was not clear. In law there is (as everyone is aware) something called reasonable doubt... when there is reasonable doubt then it means you must be believed. You were lead to believe you could assign assistant capt through TWD website and staff would monitor it and apply the changes to TWL.

1) because Jebass submitted the assist cap list without informing you
1b) this lead you to assume staff must be getting the roster info from TWD
2) because of being unaware about the tabs on the spreadsheet
3) because it was done this way in previous leagues
4) it was nowhere explicitly stated on forums "That changes in TWD have no effect on rosters."
5) what was stated on forums says what you can do, but not *HOW* you do it.

"Squad owner may select up to two co-captains and five assistant captains on their league rosters. Captains have the authority to request further roster changes and additions where as assistant captains only have power to make substitutions. These kind of changes can be done even during a match, thus captains can request assistant captain powers to be added. We are going to keep logging all roster actions on the spreadsheet with time and date stamps which will be useful for a number of reasons, namely waiting period rule which can be found by checking out the rule 4.04 in TWL rules."

You may select up to two co-captains and five assistants. That says what you can do, but not how, or where. The next lines deal with in game rosters changes, where you obviously contact staff... it's a good post, but for an utter noob it's not specific or detailed enough.

The only discrepancy I see with this is something Turban pointed out: This paragraph states you can only have two captains, and five assistants, but Paladen has 4 captains and 10+ assistants on TWD. So how did you think staff was choosing which two will be captains and which 5 are your assistants...?

In hockey zone, they have squad captain forums that only captains and assistant captains can access. These are not league forums, these are captain forums. Many things can be conveyed there...

All this being said this mainly shows there is some reasonable doubt over why you expected sawyer to be assistant captain... the BIGGER issue is that none of the assistant captains? or the other captain could apparently sub people in? when they should have been able to? is that right?

This is my original point with this appeal yes. And a basis I think the game shud be replayed anyways. All games that experienced this should be replayed. A few others are appealing this too. At least all games where ANY conflict arose should be replayed. If no one did a sub then I suppose it isn't an issue but if a squad struggled because of this they shud allow replays.

Maybe I shud say I retract any argument that staff added the roster without our knowledge. I still feel a replay is warranted because of the bot glitch affecting my game.

Anyway to move our comments to Marksmin / Paladen appeal ?? srsly didn't know this was wrong link. Saw jb post and assumed it was our thread I started. I had no clue this happened until now.
