We had a basing clique that included a few friends who are sticking up for each other here, no surprise there. I don't think any of these people leaving or being removed has any negative impact on the team. Marksmin has had 3 wins and 230452808 losses in BD despite BDing very frequently, and most of those BDs include this clique of basers sticking up for each other in this thread, so they were obviously a large part of the problem. Disappointed to see myself singled out by nipple nibbler despite only playing a couple of BDs in my entire life, but if someone wants to pick a fight I don't mind that at all. The reason marksmin struggles in base is because the majority of the so called 'basers' frequently have mediocre or average performances. Maybe they aren't the worst players in the world, but every other team has better performing players in pretty much every position. I'm not sure how anyone could ever be upset about this Tj Hazuki thing, outside of just watching with your eyes you can go to the marksmin stat page and sort it by spider and pretty much every single spider have significantly better performances.... when you're looking at an extremely large sample size (these guys spammed the shit out of games) and one spider is barely positive in any single match and has a performance on par with any random player playing in spider that's obviously not a good thing. Maybe record doesn't mean everything but it is obviously relevant, especially when it's a large discrepancy with other players who are also on the same team losing the same games. I also thought it was hilarious to see nipple nibbler saying things like ease playing in a warbird is the reason we are losing BDs when the team loses almost 100% of BDs and obviously ease is only a warbird in a small percentage of those matches.

People are also backing up saying these people had good personalities but they were frequently toxic and argumentative on the chat, and even talked tons of shit about the captains and the team on their private buddy buddy discord channel. The loss of these players is not a negative thing and I doubt they will bring anything positive to any other team.
I'll also say spider is the most boring position of all time and when I requested to get some practice in other ships so I could attempt to learn basing people like nipple nibbler and his friends would make derogatory remarks and complain the whole time before anything even happened because they are elitist despite putting in very average performances and losing 95% of all the matches they are playing. Sorry if my request to try to learn shark would make you lose 15 minutes to 2 instead of 15 minutes to 3. Violence just now inserted me onto the LB roster after other people left because I told him I would put some practice time in and play if needed. When you're getting shit canned all the time any way better to develop someone who can become better over time instead of players like the ones who left who have obviously plateau'd and will just keep putting in the same mediocre performances for all eternity because they've based for 10+ years and obviously aren't getting any better.

With all the terr games I played for marksmin, I can safely tell you TJ was the only spider I noticed that consistently tried to push, which is a big problem in why we lost so many games. I'm sure if he sat back at the walls with the other spiders he would die a lot less.

Violence has done a horrible job trying to captain his squad in LB giving roster spots to players that haven't done anything for the squad to earn them. Vagabond, played like ass in the few bd's he got added into. Thrill, again sucked ass every BD he played in. Both these 2 are on the roster for TWLJ. Rosters are seperate, I don't understand why you feel the need to put them on both. Diakka played 2 BD before LB started, sucked ass in both, yet hes starter terr? maybe if he actually logged in more than just sunday and stopped pitching a tent in streams of bullets. Public Assassin, rusty spider that is IRL friend of a cap so he gets a spot. (maybe he gives great head?) Steep, didnt play a single TWD match of any kind with squad before taking TJ's spot, who also has a ?lag like this: PING Current:160 ms Average:160 ms Low:150 ms High:180 ms S2C: 0.1% C2S: 3.7%.

Wow completely surprised by the support in this thread, nor did I expect Joe to start a thread about it. Thanks all, but I've got to say I am not bitter about the decision, just kinda disappointed that I wasted my time on this squad when I could've joined another squad in the beginning of the season but I decided i wanted to join with my bros and play/win with them but incompetence leadership got in the way of everything.

Good luck to the remaining of the squad during the season, but I cant wait to play yall and beat them and prove them wrong. I've been a proven/consistent spider for years. I've won 4 twdt-b titles for reason. I've practicality lead a squad (LEGO) to semis in lb one year under my leadership. Has my play been a bit lackluster? Sure, but you shouldn't blame it on all one guy. They made the wrong decision, imo.

Another thing, don't know why y'all picked up another spider (when thats not the problem of the squad) for TWL, when we cant even get a consistent shark pairing every week. Or know that our best pairing is right infront them but cant see it because of squad's own dilemma. Again, good luck, yall gonna need it.

We have 7 spiders who can do as good or bettir than TJ, even if you think TJ is bettir than mean gene singer poseidon bitsaver banks rageritual or steep you cant say its by much. pilitics unfortunately played a part. maybe average bettir than a 1:1 k/d and perform bettir than othir playirs if u want 100% roster security. she had the wirst spidir rec on the team almost every game and we werent winnink, so othir than activity theres not much of a case u can make other than she pushis and shoots some shirks. Like do it or don't pretend you would. Easy. Steep has nothing to apologize for and shouldn't pull himself from the squad or TWL as this wasn't his decision or fault at all, and I mean honestly it isn't really Viop's fault entirely, either. Steep ought not be defending himself over this thread. The guy did nothing. And Viop had to choose what he thought was best for Marksmin or what the other captains thought.. The ability to dump people off your TWL roster weeks into TWL is kind of bullshit and wrong IMO, but yo don't act like you would've given up your spot for someone that you didn't give it up for.

But perhaps this could be the start of a change for the next TWL season with how rosters work? Choose your rosters for the season and let that be it. It's kind of shitty to have someone there for 2-3 weeks then be like lol nah, you're out, and them not even have a shot at a medal just because someone decided to remove them a couple weeks deep into the season. But rly Viop, don't say you'd give up your spot if you're not going to. Undercut -- where you at on the TWL roster change rules? Gonna do something or continue to let people get fucked weeks deep in future seasons?

I am also looking for a squad. Like Tj, marksmin kicked me to make room for another player and they did so like a couple days before the first deadline making it difficult to join another squad.

I'm gonna say my opinion here just as a general response to what unlimited wrote, don't all get upset because i'm not in league... but respectfully i can perform as well as any spider on marksmin too, but squads for base aren't exactly out recruiting and looking for new talent and i'm not about to ask to play... since TWL as i've honestly said before is not the most exciting league to ever be in subspace. That being said i'd love to help out if a squad really needs players or make a squad sometime and field some players if I can make it happen, but the reality is squads don't need people that badly, and plenty have been left out.

with that said here is my opinion on this problem... (keep in mind i didn't read all the league rules and don't know how league works fully).

i think league could benefit from being slightly more dynamic in nature, so having and allowing trades of players if both captains agree (especially with a 13 squad cap) and not having a waiting time to play after a trade. now... i don't know if this would change the nature of TWL entirely and people will hate this suggestion, but take it with a grain of salt, if it's a bad idea no offense intended, just trying to think of solutions... personally i wouldn't mind it, but i'd rather go with what the majority wants of course.

of course this means captains wouldn't be in a rush to add players and kick others as much before a lock deadline, and it means players without squads wouldn't have a deadline to find squads, they could convince captains to let them in at basically anytime in the league except during play offs etc. either way it seems there's a lack of squads... somehow i feel even if i made a basing squad unlimited/rab and others would not join, so people helping out with squads doesn't really solve this issue, unless it's a top player making a squad i guess?

it also seems like you basically find out which players wont make a team when it's too late... which means if i could make a basing squad now, this second, then i could probably field all those players who didn't make it (plus some HZ/DSBers), but it's way too late to be adding squads.. so it's a problem of finding out news when it's too late to do anything about it too. Seems like a big timing mess in that sense... i dunno.

im a bleeding heart, so it's sad that some players can't play a league they enjoy... and in this case it's not noobs, but decently experienced players.
