It depends on how 'colorful' the commentary really is.....I remember a story about a lazy, late summer AL baseball game years ago. The game was in the later innings and the camera man was panning around the stands. He came back to the same couple 2-3 times and the announcer finally said, "ah, look at that...he is kissing her on the strikes, and she is kissing him on the balls".

It's hard to make colorful commentary like that when you have to be typing straight through. Especially since there are no balls in the game save what the players exhibit in their basing manuevers.

I'm pretty sure he wasn't suggesting that you re-use the ball joke.

Fit, if you don't enjoy it, I give sufficient warning beforehand and you can ignore.

I think people enjoy the ambience, seeing their names getting credit for a good move, seeing the comments made. It's not that people are too stupid to figure it out for themselves, it's that it is interesting to them.

If you find it an insult to your intelligence, that's your point of view, and a
?ignore Howard Cosell is certainly your right.

I was in base yesterday and Howard "Fucking" Cossell comes in and starts doing his thing, and it was great! I couldn't figure out if he just has a bunch of macro's or just types really really fast. He spelt my name Triceritops, which was cool I guess. I'd totally love it if he were to record matches and talk over them or whatever. My nerditude would reach new bounds if this were to happen, and I'd happily embrace it.

It is hard to type 100% accurately at a furitve 110 WPM while trying to pay attention to what is going on and come up with what to say, let me tell you.

I saw him in base like once or twice, the first time, i wsa playing (terring) and i found it quite disturbing to my play because i usually read everything that is written down causing me to die more than my turn but the second time i read it was quite funny and good since i was in spec .
