Twl roster limits suggestion

There was aroster limit last season as well (30 for all squads) and thats fine w/ me. I dont see the need for any squad (even a 3 league squad) to have more then 30 ppl on it. 30 worked last season, i dont see why it wouldnt this season.

He means TWL rosters, not TWD!!!!! U can keep ur inactive guys on the TWD roster and let them idle. DO what some squads had to do last season and send a list to the ops of who they didnt want on the TWL roster.

Awesome: if u want them old guys who show up once the whole season on ur TWL roster thats up to you, but then dont recruit more guys. Its up to you who u have on the roster, just dont go over 30 (or whatever the limit is)

The thing i have a problem with is the roster lock (not limit). Last season we were suppose to have that "new cool" soft and hard lock. SO happens the soft lock was a joke and we only had a hard lock. Figure this problem out and keep the limit the same as last season, but dont go unlimited for TWL.

TWL roster should be limited especially since the competition in several leagues seems to be dropping. The TWD roster on the other hand should remain unlimited. If you make that idea for TWL I'll agree with it. :

30 ppl on roster. I bet they will make lj, but ppl wont accept bench if they lose some at start.

40 ppl on roster. Ppl say basers are more loyal, but i rly dunno, i think they are just a bit smarter when they dont expect to play, they leave before twl and join another twl squad with a supposed "lower rank", i wont say names cause i dont want to get flamed more, but i remember some basers doing this before twl. I bet this season A-s will have the biggest departure.

As for diso, they prolly gonna make all 3 leagues and roster limits wont bother them, since they got as da1 said 37, just dont put them on twl roster, or you gonna tell me that if they come back from ages of inactivity you gonna put them to start :P

We leave people like Pioneer! and Schanres on roster should they ever want to play TWD with us. People like Pioneer! and Smack Man are overall inactive, and others like Schanres play hockey zone or another zone. (He uses Shop, in case you didn't know).

We really have about 30 or so active members, and we could cut the inactives from our roster if we had to, but until we have to we're leaving them as is.

Neither you, sCHOPe, TWL ops, or even DoCk> can tell us how to recruit, we'll recruit as many as we want and keep whoever we want on roster. We'll put out 5 for LDs/LJs every week and 8 for LBs (assuming we get in) like every other squad.

And btw, the roster limit technically is 35, not 30. It just isn't enforced because there was no need to enforce it. Squads like Sk8, Pallies, Anti-Scrub and whoever else had over 35 had many inactive people on their roster who didnt show up all season. So what's the harm in keeping them there. Seriously, think about it Cig Smoke/sCHOPe.

Well if you're talking about TWL, why are you brining up Rune. The next season isn't close at all really and i don't see Rune continuing on without dissolving until the next season if you look at it realistically. These type of squads are built for TWD and it's serving it's purpose right now but playing as many games as they want for fun, not for TWL qualifying. Don't you think it resembles all the other squads Tiny/PhaithDzyne have made together and also resemble other TWD (not TWL) squads such as Arcados and Vitality.

I didnt watch twld, but i remember your squad as an example of what im saying for twlj, you had lots of ppl leaving cause pirates were playing 1 solid line and ppl like chance or beatbox had talent to not get benched on other squads.

This is exactly why I say that there should be no limit. the free market decides it.. if someone's good enough to play for another squad and they're riding the bench on their current squad, they'll leave.

That's exactly why having a roster limit won't increase the number of competetive squads.

Look at the players that are on that list. I think more squads should do what they do and get some people into playing TWD in a more competative way.
Most people just keep looking at the big names and whine that they are all on the same squad -and not on their own-, but if you don't envolve the maximum amount of 'newbies' into the game you will always keep a small playerpool with those incesttuous formations of squads, where the same people will keep squadding up together.

Im not telling you how to recruit awesome. What im saying is i dont see any kind of need for 1 squad having more then 35 (my mistake b4) even if its in 3 leagues. Keep it at 35 for everyone like last season. Make squads who have more send a list in w/ the ones who are inactive like last season. Make a roster lock that works and we'll be fine. I dont think any of this will even affect u at all awe. I konw how strict u and herc are on recruiting and you also like to keep ur roster small. Again, we are talking about TWL rosters, not TWD. If you want to keep 10 inactive guys who show up ocne a month on twd roster to play a game the day they show up then go ahead tahts fine and dandy, but i dont see any need for them on a TWL roster. Thats a decision the captain has to make on who to keep and who to not put on roster (if ur in that situation, which ur not awe)

it just means they have to choose between keeping their old players and recruiting new ones while not penalizing them directly.

I think that the most people want this rule so that the 'stacked' squads will drop half of their top-players before this TWL so they finally get a chance of picking them up. It won't happen..
