Twl roster limits suggestion

That would seem like a good suggestion that lives up to the trend in TWL rules, where both skill and stability of a squad is stimulated, provided that the substitute player is subject to the Standard Waiting Period.

5.05 The Standard Waiting Period for roster eligibility goes as follows: Any player joining a Squad for participation in Trench Wars League, will be subject to a one round cool down period after registration and confirmation by a Squad Captain. Players will not be eligible to participate in official Trench Wars League matches until the round proceeding that player joining the Squad has completed (Example: Players joining before round 3 but after round 2 will not be allowed to play in any games until the round 4 games).

But as soon as the flowing starts there is no need for a rosterlock..

PlayerA leaves SquadA
PlayerB leaves SquadB
PlayerC leaves SquadC

Now SquadA has the right to replace PlayerA, so they pick up PlayerC. 
SquadB has the right to replace PlayerB so they choose PlayerA.

That was the whole point of the soft/hard roster locks. Until week 4, any player can join a TWL squad or leave it. Until week 6, any player who was on a TWL squad this season cannot join another one (of course they could join the squad, they just could not play TWL). After week 6, no new members may be added to a TWL roster. I think this is a good system, prevents people from hopping to a playoff bound squad, as prior to week 6 only 5 weeks of TWL would have been played, and noone is GUARANTEED a playoff spot yet.

A simpler version for those who don't feel like reading that:

Time Frame                    Who can Join
Weeks 1-3                     Anyone
Weeks 4-5                     People who have not yet joined a TWL squad
Weeks 6-10                    No new members

For clarification, to my best knowledge if you have joined a TWL squad (say, for weeks 1 and 2) but left before the soft lock, you are ineligible to play for another squad unless you join it before the soft lock. If you have not joined a TWL roster all season, you may do so up until the friday before Week 6 games begin.

notice how kim is a staff member and many staffers (see pallies & sk8's roster for other examples) are allowed to have their main name plus their <ZH> or <ER> name on the roster as well.

I think its stupid to say only NON TWL ppl can join squads during the soft lock. I mean What happens if someone gets axed (download/nether last season) and so on. They get hosed out of TWL bc there captain/s didnt want them. Just lengthen the waiting period so that if u switch squads u miss a few weeks worth of games. There is only 10 games (season) and like 3 playoff games? So make it that they miss a few weeks if they switch, and lock the rosters b4 playoffs.

To my knowledge even staff isn't allowed to have 2 nicks on twd roster. Last I heard was that staff had to be on their staffnick in twd and was allowed to play twl on their regular nick.
