We're allowing ship changes. In a very tight game, a last minute change to a LEVI is a very sound tactical move. We should be given the opportunity to take advantage of that tactic should we wish to.

A levi would take almost the whole minute to get into position and fire, assuming the other team has some clue whatsoever they've managed to either wb one someone to spawn the lev or at least time enough for the terr to position itself. By the time, a levi has recharged for a second shot, game over. Not to mention nearly every ship can counter the levi before it's greened which would never happen in a serious basing game.

This isn't a reason why it should be illegal. This is actually an argument for its legality.

Well with bots here that problem which will never be mentioned again can be easily avoided, and I agree with Abatis. In exchange for the most powerful destructive weapon that would devastate a defending team in one blow, you get a ship that is slow, basically useless in an fr battle, requiring vast amounts of time to get into a position where it'll be useful, not to mention the fact that the attacking team will have to back off for the shot to have any real value.

Really, I think having the levi as an option would be neat.
