In my top five I didn't just consider skill. I considered every factor that could cause a win or loss in TWL. A-S is just an overall weak squad. Yeah, TWD means jack, but they really aren't a contender for the championship. It's not that the old super basing squads have gotten worse. It's that basing is becoming more popular and there is so much new talent this year for basing. Pirates have don't have enough sharks and their designated sharks aren't the best. Thier spids will have a hell of a time fighting good basing squads in leagues.

A-S has it in them, trust me. Their spider situation might cost them, but that's cool.

i dont know why so many people think a-s won't even make top 5. helloooo, a-s won twl last season, and their core lineup didnt change that much at all. The only BIG change from their core is that the spider lineup is without me and nosey. But we can be replaced easily. If playoff and finals were to happen right now, (meaning no roster change), I will say a-s is still a champ contender. heh. Thought many of you would learn from last season that TWD games means shit.

But who is going to replace u and nosey that is on there roster this season? Not to mention exotic played in alot of games for u guys last season. Plus i think there camping style won it for a-s last season. They caught ppl off guard. I think this season ppl are better prepared for that type of thing and vs aggresive squads a-s will be hurting at times. The only constant thing a-s does have is brookus in terr + spybreak and holydude in spider. Like i said i still think they are a top 5 team and probably could contend for the title but i dont see them winning it this season.

I agree with Cig Smoke on this one. They just don't have any hard hitting spiders anymore other than HD and Spybreak!. I would say Punk Rock, but he's been to inactive to do good anymore. jr5 is a new addition, but I really don't think he is as high of caliber as he used to be. If any spider other than HD and Spybreak! that is going to do something will be Sprained.

I won't be doing any bragging, since it is known to cost us in the end ("hah guys, this is going to be easy" - 15 mins later - "wtf!?"). Anyway, I love the way people put us off. While having 5 elite spids would be cool, you can do with 5 solid spids (we got plenty of both!) if they actually team well. Actually, all we need to do is to get a sharp stick to shove our spids (hiding behind brooks - happens every game) at the nmy :P.

But yes, I agree that this season will be close without a clear winner. I'd be expecting a Spastic v Dice final, though. As with A-S - I'm happy if we make the playoffs (same goals as last season, never hurts to be careful. Last season I predicted us to make the playoffs and get wasted in first round by either Incuria or Mambo.

A-S sucks. That's what apt says and apt is always right. He's a basing veteran of all three twlb seasons and the ladder before that. He knows his stuff. So please stop talking about A-S.

Last season I predicted us to make the playoffs and get wasted in first round by either Incuria or Mambo.

What a close game ours was! Still, the best game I've ever played.
