question about eligibility/squadhopping

Shouldn't the referee tell the squad before the game starts if a player is not eligible for the game? Dyers removed Mortyr 3 times mid-game causing us lose 3 deaths and told me after game he was not eligible. Maybe I should have realized this myself but I didn't.

I agree with this. The captain who recruited a player isnt always online and the cocaptains mite not know if he's eligable or not. The refs should check this.

There can be some level of responsibility on the captains' part, but if the cap asks the ref and the ref says it's fine for a player to play, that's the ref's mistake, not the squad.

The pirates captain supposidly asked if 2d and epi could play, or so says this thread. The TWL ops (not the ref) said they were allowed to. Just like this past weekend we asked if necro could play and they said he couldnt. I guess merce was in the same situation as 2d/epi. I dont know or care that much about this but it seems like this rule needs some changing next season.

Yeah, awesome claimed that he asked the host if they were ok, earlier in this thread after I said he fucked up. That's what made me switch sides, but if it turns out he didn't ask, I'm switching back.

i never claimed that. i wasnt even on for any of my squads twl games this year except like 1 preseason game.

I have to admit, TWL is the only popular forum where nerds concentration excess newbs concentration.

Often I have been mistaken to be a forum hoe, but actually I am a forum monkey - the same category that Schope, Jerome belong to.

Just between you and me, kz, nobody tells this to pallies members. But no matter how hard they try, half of them are still forum hoes, no where as entertaining as forum monkeys.

Forum monkey is something you are born to be, look @ -f-, I dont think any of them will ever be Schope II even if they try. Expecially you Disqalifier.

I wasnt givnig much attention to this thread...
About eligibility I was told that the bot is supposed to check it. This weekend we didnt play Tsunami cuz he didnt join for more than a week. Still the ref told me that if I did .!add Tsunami and it worked, he could play. Therefore if Mulkero could add Mortyr, he was eligible.
