FIrst you have regular season, only conference games, which means you have 8 teams per conference.... so you play 7 matches...Originally posted by Sleepy Weasel
Then you get groups of 4, in which you play each other team once, so you play an other 3 matches.... after that the regular play-offs start which has quarter-final, semi-final and final.... an other 3 matches....
This totall's 7 + 3 + 3 = 13 matches ( excluding regular play-offs 13 - 3 = 10 )
So you got the same amount of weeks, and the season won't take any longer then normall....
Only problem i see is : some squads not caring the first 7 weeks cause they know they'll make play-offs whoever they fase in the groups of 4 fase.TWLM-J Champion Season 8 :wub:

Oh I see what you're saying. I thought 1 would just play 8 and 2 play 7 and the two winners move on to playoffs and likewise for the other groups. Playing each team in the group of 4 once each and the best two moving on, doesn't sound like a bad idea. You could end up with 3 way ties, but I guess those could be broken with +/- if needed. Sounds like a pretty good system to me.Comment
