First staff didn't check rosters for eligiblety (no idea how you spell it)
Secondly lemar could have known he wasn't eligible to play and thus he is fully responsible for his own ban, and the ban from twl should be like a year... (so this will not happen again in the future, so you rather have your squad lose one week en stay on the sidelines for 2 games, then having it maybe win but have to sit out for the rest of the season...)

Somehow BC should be punished... but not by giving Incuria the win... I would lett the score stand and give BC -3 points... (This way incuria doesn't get an unfair advantage since this was a cross-conference game which helps them a lot cause this was one of 2 harder c-c games for them)

Thirdly Cross-conference games are stupid cause you never know what team will be how good and thus some people have easier c-c games then others giving them an unfair advantage. Best option is to play everyone, which means 17 matches of regular season... since this is a little long i have an other good idea:
Lett them only play everyone in their own conference...
Then you lett the numbers 1 and 2 from conference A play numbers 7 and 8 from conference B... and 3 and 4 from A play 5 and 6 from B... etc
This way you get 4 groups of 4, of which the best 2 from each group will continue to the play-offs.... This way you still have a 10 week regular season, and if one conference was better then the other you can still go trough as number 5 or 6 ( even as number 8, but that's unlikely )

            Nuke the cross-conference games!

Okay this post is for Sump and all the other fucksticks out there blaming staff for this issue of cheating.

Unless something has changed in the last 2 weeks (I've been busy and unable to host the past 2) the referee does not have the ability to start the game as the bot guide and rules dictate it should be. This is problematic because in many games teams don't add their rosters until 30 seconds before the match is started and then time runs out and the match commences without the referee having time to check rosters. This means that it is mainly up to the captain to make sure incidents of cheating do not take place - referees have little ability to cross-check in the short time period before the match starts and they have to watch.

Also, blaming the refs for a squad cheating is just stupid anyway. I mean are you guys completely retarded? Does the MLB blame the umpires for players taking steroids because they think anything of their gigantic guns? I'm not saying that staff has no responsibility in stopping cheating but the first line of protection against this is with the captains. And if the captains to make a mistake, since the burden is first on them and their squad, they must suffer the consequences.

Yeah it's kind of hard, but our captain leroy notified the referee about this long before the game was started.

Checking up every player is of course much harder than last season when the ref started the actual game.

I don't see how that's a 10 week season. It seems to me like you're describing a 7 week season plus one additional week of playoffs. Instead of only taking the top 4 from each conference, we have an additional playoff round, so that everyone makes the playoffs, but is seeded 1-8 in each conference and the playoffs go from there. I actually think that might be a good way to go in the future. But I don't see how that's 10 weeks.

Lets see. So captain of other team tells refs that other team is playing (or going to play) with illegal player and refs dont do anything. Its like ref letting other team play with 6 players in hockey without giving penalty.
I mean, I hope they are real refs not just random people from DSB who are reffing. Then I would realize their lack of initiative. You arent forced to ref, so if you do it, focus on your job.

PS: Dont make any quick conclusions. Im not saying that teams are allowed to cheat, or that it isnt punishable. BC cheated, so they need punishment, but refs didnt do brilliant job here either.

Like someone mentioned, with the way the bots/games currently run, it's not feasible for the ref to check every player for elibility, especially in a TWLB game. The new bots do not check it either.

The thing is, specific cases (leroy asking about Lemar) have no reason not to be checked.

Anyway, it doesn't matter anymore. The issue was taken care of and everything worked out.
