I think that main reason might be because you call ppl fags and such, and how would you host all afternoon if you were playing in one of the games? are you saying you will not make it to twl?

the reason we made lb playoff 1 round (except the final) is cause it would take way much time. Provide each round is a race to 20 mins, if its a tight race and goes to 3 rounds, it would take 2 hours of game time, add in the time for adding lineups. basingcrew wouldnt really care about it cause you are a 1 league squad, but keep in mind there are 3-league squads out there.

Example 1......How about 2 rounds - take less time winner decided if a 1-1 tie, tie goes to the team with the most kills for both games combined.in case of a kill tie .. a 1 on 1 wb to 1 match to decide the winner. rofl

games could be 20 mins giving u 5 mins per lineup .. an a 10 min duel if nessary should be sufficient.


Or u go with a point system ...


if team wins both games they get 2pts. if a tie happens the team with the most kills gets 2points. if kills = tie they both get 1 point.

of course this would be going back to a point system.

Instead of rounds which take 20 minutes, they could be up to 10. It's not much but we're used to it at ?go base and it would be more fair to have to win 2 matches instead of 1. With 10 minutes(up to 20) games it should be easily possible.

I think atleast basing could be put up to 20 minutes in regular, that wouldnt take much longer but would be more fun to play..more time for a comeback!

a race to 20 minutes that is tight will be a very very long time to concentrate (nearly 40 minutes), i think its just fine the way it is.. 15 minutes can decide the real winner, and gives ample time for comebacks if say.. one person on a squad fucks up for some reason

also, u inevitably have a massive difference in skill level between the top teams and the ones in the bottom of the ladder, and completely handing someone their ass for 20 minutes is just as boring as getting owned for as long.

If the league bots/TWL website are stable by TWL 9 I think 2 rounds for ld/lj would be a decent idea to consider, although 1 round does have its advantages.
