Honestly, most of the squads who look like they're stockpiling players just don't axe their inactive ones. Anti-Scrub has 54 on roster, sure, but what does it hurt to keep the 15 or so that aren't active on roster? If you axe them they're not going to go anywhere else, because they're not even active.

And if somebody who's active likes their squad, why should you force them to leave it? That doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Players will only take so much shuffling around before they get tired of it.

If anything, instead of cutting people from their current squads and forcing them to do something against their will, we need to get some new players involved.

Or the active players could just go and make their own squads. 24 people is enough to run a league squad, if the guys are committed enough.

If they don't WANT to, they shouldn't HAVE to. Not everybody has the ambition or patience to form and run a squad. But I agree, those who do should not take the easy way out by just joining an existing squad.

continuum is old game, and like every old game, the amount of players decrease, or we just need to publish base more

If your looking for squad's that aren't going to dissolve mid-season, 12 teams is easy, 14 is a stretch, and 16 is gonna be pretty tough to achieve.

However I don't think a roster cap is the solution. If you ask me, there should be no roster cap; if a squad wants to have 40 player's that should be the squad's perogative. There ARE enough baser's who play the game to have 16 squads. The question is, will there be 16 squad's that will last. Personally, I think the only way to achieve longevity with squads would be to have ?go base bacome as active as it was, say, a year ago.

we're training like what, 2-4 pubbers on the squad just to get them better? (btw Kai- owns hard) but now since i'm bein nice n shit i take in a bunch of guys who are worth it, not no names, just aliases, and i'm considered a new training captain of a new training squad

Veh ... imho it's fine to have as many players on a squad for TWD. But for TWL, we want the highest level of competition, active competition. I think there should be a 24 player limit for TWL ... it should be the big boy league, no BSing/fooling around ... straight up you have to be active and competitive to stay in league.

No where in that statement does it say your squad is a bunch of no names, or does it say that your a training squad. It simply says that new squad's form when players are unable to find a squad they are happy with. I may have worded it wrongly, and I apologize. Don't jump to the conclusion that i'm shitting all over your squad, i'm not.

However, you squad is a breeding ground for newer players, which is why new squads are a necesity. They bring more players into the basing community in the long wrong, and add a little bit of competitition to the division and the league.
