Ya most of the stupid bitches just use simple cheats but there is always your 'Sika' player with some intense hacks that probably took me 3 minutes to make but would take any non-nerd years to make. As far as I know Sika is the only one nerdy (except for Da1 but he's stupid as hell)enough in this game to actually come up with those intense hacks that some SVS mod posted about.

lag and eats will always be a part of the game. having a steady 150 ms im very dangerous against someone with 30 ms. still i average about 5 hits that doesnt kill each game. the only thing you need to is break fast and it shows a hit on the others screen, whilst you make an effort to dodge it. how are you gonna fix that? you cant.

Deluge is correct. A few seasons back the bots werent all to bad, they were actualy very stable, but we always have to add new feathers, new stupid shit. Just keep the bot simple so we can play the games.

Gen: Im all for new working bots that never lagout or what not (like matchbots) but why do we have to build new bots eveyr offseason? Why dont we just use matchbot? Why dont we just upgrade the olds bots a little? Im sure that there is an answer that we could come up with without having to use 3-5 extra months coding a new bot. It just gets frustrating to constnatly deal w/ the same crap every league.

It doesnt take nostradamus to know that TWL wont start on time. It never has and it never will. Take the original twl announcement and add about 2-3 months on top to get a reasonably close idea to the actual league start date.

But I guess we all fall victim to getting our hopes up, seeing as i still think the toronto maple leafs are going to win the stanley cup every year...

And Fit of Rage: I wanted twl to start when it was SUPPOSED to because I leave in March for the US Navy, so obviously I cant play twl all season long, and I will miss a lot of the season with TWL starting so late. Playoffs i might be able to make if QS makes it, but the reg season, probably not very much.

Also, who is going to check and test the bots guys? What bot programmers does TW have now? Qan was basicly the only legit guy to do it, and he quit. So explain to me who's going to do it?

From my limited understanding of the situation, the TWL bots from last year do not communicate with the current database server that TW now has. I believe the new bots needed to be coded in a language that few in TW know how. Not to mention the fact this game is free and no one is getting paid to do all this work. The good part about the new bots might be that we can hold Seasons more than once a year since new bots will not have to be coded hopefully. Just be patient.

My opinion is that this latest round of cheating can only be addressed (short of a client rewrite) through a multitude of approaches that all greatly discourage cheating. These approaches should include:
- coming down hard on cheater when caught by not allowing them to play in any leagues
- publishing the names of those who get caught cheating
- increased anti-cheating pressure from the general TW population (which can not really happen until the list of cheaters is published)
- increasing the responsibilities of any squad that supports cheaters
- scheduling only one each of TWLB, TWLD, and TWLJ games at a time so observation and control can be increased
- a plan of attack that begins with better anti-cheating control of league play and then working it down to pubs
- temporarily cutting back on special events and the amount special interest arenas, giving staffers more time to deal with the cheating (what flipping good are the special events/arenas when we have cheating going rampant everywhere else?)
- further discovery and refinement of tools used to detect CE
- appoint someone higher up in staff as the 'Cheating Tsar' to make them responsible for reducing impact of the current round of cheating by implementing any possible solutions or approaches
