I was looking at something somewhere else and it occured to me that it might be fun if there was a way to implement some kind of salary / transfer system for TWD (which affects TWL too, since TWL roster is made of the TWD roster).
What if a squad that enters TWD gets, for instance, 22.000 cash ? All new aliases / players that sign up for TWD are worth 1000. Performances during game (just like TWD rating system, or that TWLM system, or lets think of one) affects your transfer worth. You can sign up contracts for an amount of league and you can only get out of your contract when both parties agree. Ofcourse you can renew your contract etc just with soccer.
A squad that wins a match (also again some kind of rating system) gets some cash. If you win vs better squads you get more cash etc. If you lose you don't lose cash. There is a transferperiod each week (lets say in weekends) where you can buy and sell players. Scouting talents, making them better and let them play is a good way to make profit if you sell them later etc. Each player can ask for some salary and players that got a lot of cash might be able to buy some sort of awards, trophies or banners ? I dont know.
(to keep the players interested in getting better, earning more money etc) Payment of salary could be per month, so if you leave before the month you dont get paid and axing costs money if its before the end of contract.
Ofcourse not all holes are filled in this post, but if people are interested I wouldnt mind joining some kind of 'thinkforce' to work this idea out. It would kind of smash away our current system in some way, but personnaly I think it would actually do also something about the squadhopping, give a little more fun to the game outside leagues and has more benefits...
Oh and yeah, if you want to watch a TWL game you have to pay some cash to the stadium in which the Home Team is playing
