Now combine what happened there with the rest of our season, and try telling me logically how we were not abused. Honorable mention here is that Disqualifier posted twice that his squad was given illegal times based on the rules, and each time it was fixed. We got pretty much either ignored, or told to fuck off. Your choice of wording should not be scheduling screwed, but rather operator screwed. To say we got screwed by scheduling implies that it was done fairly, but we got the shortest straw. I'm sure you can see that

As for your specific incident with sk8 I don't know. I wasn't there so I can't say. From your link it seems like you were only willing to schedule one time more or less and so was sk8. Since no time was agreed to, the league operator assigned a time which was open. Although I wasn't there, 2pm-4pm times are usually always filled on a Sunday, so you were assigned either 1pm or 5pm.. and you were given 1pm. The reason I can think for that was because if you were given 5pm EST on Sunday, then that means you get exactly the time you want and sk8 is completley screwed. So a time inbetween was chosen.

It sucks that your players were banned and you had such a small roster. It's too bad that you couldn't make it to that game. But it's not the fault of the league operators if your squad can't be around. The fact is, being a participant in league, you should be prepared to have a squad that is ready more than just one timeslot, with at least 3-4 players at any time so that at least you don't forfeit.

Like I said, everyone gets screwed sometimes, and that time you got screwed. Ripping into other squads like Squad!! and the fact that THEY managed to have a more successful season isn't fair to them. Even if you think you are better, in the end they WERE better. They won the games they needed and showed up to the games they needed to advance to the playoffs and you didn't.


As for how you were screwed the rest of your season I can't comment. I was only really active for the first 4 weeks of TWL and I think I saw your squad play every week and you had full lineups. I also remember you losing some easy games.

Well, you're right that Sunday 4 pm time was full vs Ancients, but there were only 5 games scheduled at 4 pm after thursday (well friday, they were particularly lazy that week). However, 3 pm got booked with 6 games that weekend. If you are going to take the defense that ops can schedule 6 games in one time slot, then why would it not have happened that week? 4 pm was the obvious compromise that week, as ancs would then be playing at 2, 3, and 4 pm, and we wouldnt get stuck with some euro time we can never make.

This is a pretty decent point, but it also doesnt justify breaking the scheduling rules to give us a time we couldnt make. I pointed out before, we tried doing everything we could to get that game changed to saturday during the week as soon as we found out what happened. Sk8 was in no mood to listen to that, because they figured they would just take the ez win, and the ops wouldnt admit they were wrong so ultimately it did not go our way. I've also said earlier in this thread that we were thin that week, and Racka could not make a saturday game. It would have been stupid of me to accept a saturday game, when clearly by what I was reading on the TWL site, the only time that was not on saturday that was available, was our preferred time. Don't you agree on that?

Anyway every time you have an inconsistent policy it is opening the doorway for abuse. The ops chose not to follow that rule in week 6, which ended up making us forfeit, then in week 9, not only chose to follow the rule, but made a questionable decision I think on what time that match should have been. I mean, why would you ever give a squad who just disrespected the entire league by forfeiting 3 times in one week the time that they want. Throw in the fact that they just dont like us and never have, and now I believe you have to do some explaining to how its not abusive. Also read that log for scheduling the mini-tourny. PL was out to get us an early time again there unnecessarily.

True, I have to admit that it would have made more sense to have a playoff game QS vs. Squad!!
However, this didn't happen, so lets just close this thread, Izor, you have proved your point. Maybe you and QS deserved better, and it sucks (for you guys at least) but there's nothing you're gonna do about it, surely this won't help, and hey, remember this.
