Appealing the -final- appeal.

I've got a lot of respect for Pirates, I really don't think this should be or get personal. It's just that with everything that was going on, we honestly wanted to use the rule at our disposal. That round was terrible because guys were still curious why the game was being played when that rule was written clear as day.

Either way, you guys are a good team and I'm sure you guys can still win and move on.

Honestly don't think either Pirates or -F- would beat Dice or Syndicate in jav. But hey, thats another topic. lol

The accusation was more aimed at the certain someone(s) who just threatened to send his squadmate (who also happens to be staff) to ban Ivan from the forums and also asked (and admitted to doing so) staff members on his squad to influence a decision concerning their own game.

There lies a difference in what someone says, and what I'll actually do about it. Everest was spamming, so if he doesn't start shutting the fuck up and using that Reply post button more carefully, he will be warned for spamming. Any forum moderator would do this.

During that match disqualifier had contact with Pure-Luck about that rule he later appealed on. that contact during the game u can see as an appeal I think and it got denied, so Disqualifier has no right to send in his appeal cus Pure_luck Head TWL OP made the dissicion at that very moment.
Pure_luck cant say yes to disqualifiers 2nd appeal when it is the same appeal as from during the game that he said no.
He only letted the game be replayed cus alot of people responded in favour of -final-.

That conversation was during the game, so therefore it couldn't qualify as an appeal since the game wasn't over at that point!

I know, but masterful is now saying what i've been saying like 1 million times already... They had a discussion during the game... P_L made the decision to play it at that moment... since pirates wanted to play it at that moment, if we would have appealed, there wouldn't be a replay... but since -final- appealed and a lot of people supported them on this forum, P_L decided that his decision might not have been the best, and just grant the replay to -final-... giving them a 2nd chance...
All I want to know is How's he gonna make things even by giving pirates a 2nd chance aswell? and if we do not get one, why not... since that happens to be the new thing here...

I understand where you're coming from, and here's my response:

If round 3 had been won by -F- instead of Pirates and both squads had consented to playing the round 3, then there would have been no grounds for an appeal because 4.03 says that the game will be replayed only if both squads agree to continuing to play at that time. But this obviously isn't what happened so we can put this scenario aside.

Ok now lets pretend -F- didn't want to play the round 3 but Pirates did want to play (which is what happened during the game), and lets pretend that -F- won. If -F- had made it clear before the round that they did not want to play, and the host made the wrong decision and allowed round 3 to take place then i believe that Pirates would have had the grounds to appeal because as you said, if -F- had lost they would have had the chance to appeal because they said outright that they did not want to play to have an "insurance" in possibly getting an appeal. I think you would have been able to appeal because that is the only way that rule 4.03 would have been able to provide equal protection for both of the squads and not have allowed one squad to take advantage of the situation.

Since -F- didn't want to play, and Pirates did, but the game was still over the 30 minute mark, then that means that ops's decision to continue playing was what caused the problem that means that it is fair that the round 3 that should not have taken place was voided.

I don't think the rules are unfavorably helping -F- because had you lost round 3, you would still have had the ground to appeal, even if it was -F- that had made the request to replay at another time (because like I said, that would be the only way for the squads to have equal protection under the rules).

(Again, an unbiased opinion, just analyzing the events that happened and how they relate to the rules.)

Well I think Pure_luck is making another mistake now for giving -f- a replay, cus of pure_luck his fault Pirates will pay the price....
I havent even seen Pure_luck make excuses to Pirates I think....
Pirates can forget it now cus they will miss 2 keyplayers that are important. On the other hand -f- will have a way stronger team then they had last sunday. Bit unfair not? I think Pure_luck should tell -final- they lost because of his stupidity, it wont be nice for -f- but -f- made mistakes itself to like maling to the wrong e-mail address. And adding 5 players (which means agreed to play the game).
While Pirates didnt do nothing wrong..................................

In traffic you will have to comply to a cop on the fly or you will be in trouble, that doesn't mean you can't appeal to his decision in court.
-FINAL- says they didn't agree on the immediate replay and they had the rules on their side, so the game is void.
