But rules are rules and if he didn't send in the appeal to the right email within 24 hours the appeal can never get through...

Ah just stop bitching about the appeal. You dont need rules too see that the game did not go the way it was supposed to do. The bot just fcked up. It went far from normal with all the restarts and delays, making it a unfair to both squads and unfair to all the squads still in the jl.
The solution is stupid though. Cuz you involve us in it too. Boz now has nothing to say about when our game is going to be played. We just have to play right after you 2 are done???

I know what the title of this thread is: however the decision was made by twl staff to start the 3rd round, even though disq protested at that point and they were very well aware of why disq protested etc... So that was an decision by twl staff and those are final, just like that thing states...
So -final-'s appeal should have never been allowed even. that's what i am saying... and im showing an other thing why -final-'s appeal should have never been allowed aswell... im not attacking the decision, i am attacking the fact that they even made a decision while they shouldn't even have looked inot it.

The "decision is final" thing clearly is meant to apply to appeal decisions only.

What you're doing is taking a rule like

"10.11 Each game will consist of a single round, with the winner being determined as the first Squad to hold the flag for a combined total of 15-minutes."

and appealing the game because there was no flag in the TWLJ map.

Excuse me, but don't go around accusing someone of something so serious out of the blue. You have absolutely no basis to say that I was using my position to bend the rules, and in fact I take great offense that you would say such a thing. I hope you apologize for implying that I would cheat for Pirates.

Not only was I afk the entire round 2 and 3, Disq has been a friend of mine for 7 years and I would NEVER do something so low to a friend. I have never abused my position in staff for any personal gain in TWL I would have you know.

Ok, you have my apology. I however did not mean to imply that you (or Kim for that matter) misused your powers in any way as I do not have any first hand information what exactly went on during those 20-30mins. The accusation was more aimed at the certain someone(s) who just threatened to send his squadmate (who also happens to be staff) to ban Ivan from the forums and also asked (and admitted to doing so) staff members on his squad to influence a decision concerning their own game.

As for the mail not reaching the destination. I haven't been in touch with disq, but I have a feeling he just copied the link off nethila's post (grr, neth, can't you type one email address correctly , clicked send and was off as he still had about 100miles to drive that night to get where he was supposed to be the next day. I'm sure he'll be happy to provide you a receipt from the bounced mail. As for the false address, I suppose it'd be on staff's responsibility to provide correct contact information (I know it's right in the twl.org rules, though). Disqualifier proceeded to file the application as instructed in Nethila's post and should not be punished for neth's mistake (the typo). Thank you.

Anyway, I can't take back anything I've said, but I'm truly sorry for offending you.
