i have an idea, stop bickering and get to the predictions since we have the lb squads finalized. i'll start off. i'll attempt to make a lineup for squads but since i'm not on said squads i probably will be way off. instead of making the typical "LOL U PUT DEVERSE IN SPID OVER EELAM? WTFF U DUM" response, make you're own fuckin' predictions. thanks.
1. diCE: these guys are looking great. unlike syndicate and -f-, these guys (most of them at least) have been keeping active throughout the off-season and no doubt will be on the top of their game for twl. i've said it before and i'll say it again, a2m and cig are a great pair. a lot of people place the squad's success with their spiders but if you actually stop and look at cig and a2m working together you'll be amazed. they're great. i'm not trying to take away anything from the spiders, megaman10947383010 is great at what he does, but the sharks are fuckin' great. dice has never looked better.
Terrier: cape (so what if he's been somewhat inactive, look at his supporting crew)
Sharks: a2m, cig smoke
Spiders: megaman1901046766555454545454, stayon, cripple, paska, mikes
Javelin: necromotic (i'd be very surprised if he didn't get to play a game in jav, damn laggot)
2. Spastic: heck yes spastic is going to get second place. they are looking so much better than they have for the past couple seasons. seriously, who are these guys? why are they looking so much better? i'll give you a couple reasons. first things first, their sharks are amazing. ph and stab are going to be the best shark pair out there this season. these two are killing machines. they can time alright too, but jesus tapdancing christ can they kill. second thing, WOW has your spider lineup improved a lot. i remember last season when people were putting dttr and lemonfrog in your lineup because your active players were shit compared to them (even though they never ever signed on) and now there's no need for that. flibb and shayde are two very solid recruits. speaking of solid, say hullo to SOLIDIFY EVERYBUDDY!!!! it's in pl's hands to fuck this season up for them.
Terrier: pure_luck
Sharks: ph, stabwound
Spiders: shayde, flibb, solidify, jamal, nethila
3. Pandora: that's right, i knocked these guys out of the #2 spot they've been working so hard at getting at. the main difference i find between pandora and spastic is that at least spastic knows what shitty terrier they're starting. it seems that pandora has no idea which shitty terrier they're starting. don't get me wrong, phiz has potential but really isn't ready for twl. as for sharks, vats n max b have chemistry from sharking together for so long so they should be good to go in that department. spids are great, you've heard it all before. eemolame should dissolve the squad halfway through the season (if he gets the cap spot back, let's hope he doesn't) so after that we really shouldn't have to worry about these guys.
Terrier: phizey i guess?
Sharks: max b, vatican assassin
Spiders: sarger, eelam, mouse, deverse, zung
4. Mambo: sure they almost didn't make twl but that really is out of character for these guys. they've been a force ever since these mambonians got back together, adding shark after shark to their ever expanding shark roster. they have so much shark depth it's ridiculous, it's nice to see. i've heard a couple people rag on their spiders and say they don't really have any. completely wrong, just because 3/4ths of their roster consists of sharks doesn't mean they don't have any spiders. inv, remu, lio, all of them are superb spiders and can battle with the best of them. however, nycle in terr? not up to par with the rest of the lineup. she might cost them a couple matches if they're not careful.
Terrier: nycle
Sharks: predator_fnm, fizzy
Spiders: pistolepaultje, invincible, lionheart, remu, havu
5. -FINAL-: fuck these guys. fuck them for not playing a single bd all off season. fuck them for that and fuck them because considering they were dead during the off season, they'll still probably do amazing. fuck them. terrier's not a problem for these kids, ev can hold his own and he seriously proved that last year. sharks are absolutely amazing. the only problem i see with -f-'s lineup is their somewhat lack of spider depth. i mean sure, throw a vet in the green ship and he'll probably do fine but it just seems that they're missing some serious spiders. either way, koan and sika can carry nearly anyone. an interesting pickup i think these guys did was harry pjotter who i think is one of the best base javs out there. i wouldn't mind seeing him busting a cram every now and then. i think they might be outta luck this season though, i don't expect them to repeat.
Terrier: everest
Sharks: windreaper, domi
Spiders: koan, sika, brethal, scorch, defender
Javelin: pjotter
6. Thunder: penetrate's lineup is ... shit i mean THUNDER'S lineup is looking pretty damn good. kian, though he might have some jitters in his knickers for the first couple games, should have a wonderful break out season. i was under the impression he won't be able to play sunday games until after 5 p.m., y'never know though. paul will do fine, and they've got depth for the second shark position so whoever they're looking to play can play. the spiders are looking quite strong too, though jra will probably hop to dice before the season's over. i just have a feeling about these guys that they're going to choke. a patchwork three-league squad that was assembled relatively last minute never seems fluent to me. because of this they could either do a lot better, or a lot worse. we shall see i suppose.
Terrier: kian
Sharks: pauloakenfold, falk
Spiders: fit of rage, jrahen, nl>terminator, ease, hockey
7. BasingCrew: everyone has been saying that bc hasn't been themselves lately. i suppose that's a half-truth considering they hadn't been as active as usual. but really, they're in the exact same situation as they've always been pretty much. they have good (even though a bit campy) spiders and relatively good sharks (they're seriously lacking shark depth this season though, trig should have a nice rookie season) but what are they missing? a fucking terrier. what have they been missing for the past three seasons? a fucking terrier. same shit different season. if they seriously expect sump, zizzo, or jebu to terr they might be able to do well in the regular season but their terr problem will certainly cause them trouble in the playoffs. like i've previously mentioned, their lack of shark depth could hurt them as well. trouper was a very nice pick up during the offseason and should cause some damage.
Terrier: zizzo
Sharks: herik, nl>trigger
Spiders: sumpson, dutch baser, leitz, trouper, synicle
8. Disoblige: disoblige hasn't looked like disoblige of last season. with warportal lost in the jungles of spain up until a month or so ago, they were left with scoop in terrier. don't get me wrong, scoop is a decent terr but certainly not up to wp's caliber. whether or not wp'll be showing up to the matches, not to mention the lag he could be carrying considering he'll be in the jungles of spain with a laptop and a bongo-beat-connection (fuckin' spaniards), is completely unbeknownst to me. for diso's sake, i hope he shows up because i love those crazy disneys. other than the terrier situation there are a couple other differences. i've heard mantra isn't sharking for them this season but i have no idea, we shall see. the pickup of iggy is nice considering their shark lineup was an even bigger question before that but it still leaves diso with a big gap in their lineup where their sharks used to be. royst and mantra worked wonders for them last season and i don't think iggy and whoever else is sharking will be able to pull that off for them. their spid lineup looks decent with bram leadin the way like usual and a couple nice pickups on the offseason with anon and mirr.
Terrier: warportal
Sharks: ignominy, asmodeus
Spiders: bram, phrenitis, deprecate (last standing), anon, displaced
