i was originally against this idea, I though that maybe the top 4 in TWL should autoqualify.

but now im all for it.

Let the people who enjoy playing TW regularly, play in TWL.

this is definitely better than before. What is with all these people whining about how newb squads will get in twl? if you're so good then you should get in easily anyway, shouldnt you? this will definitely make twd more active and make entry to twl much more fair to up and coming players, i.e. last year, where 4 or 5 twld spots out of 12 were already taken leaving only 7-8 spots open to newer squads...a tad unfair.

ONLY 7 or 8? there are not 7 or 8 competitive squads out there in ANY league. What if some squads have activity problems and are forced to recruit new players like yourself just so they can qualify for TWL. -FINAL- Disoblige and even my squad dice take breaks during TWD and come out of hiding for TWL. That is what keeps this game alive, TWL, not fucking TWD who gives 2 shits about that. Why change things when they are fine the way they are?

I'm voting for auto-qualification! Mantra has a point with that sports comment. The only thing that sucks is that auto-quallified squads might not get so much practice as the other squads :P But hey, that will only make the competition better.

all these people talking about how the game is dying and how twd is shit, the only reason to play the game is to be in twl...

i hate to break it to you, but you're in the minority. If only a couple of the older squads still exist and even fewer play regularly, it's not the game dying, it's you. There's still several hundred people on at a time, it's just that the focus of the majority of TW players isn't to be the best at the competitive leagues, it's to have fun playing the game. If you're going to whine about how the game is dying, get on a play more. Afterall, you are the reason its "dying" ...

The fact that the level of competition doesn't seem as high to you just means that people who play tw regularly don't necessarily give a shit about twl, something that requires you to not have a life. The truely dedicated nerds have moved on to bigger and better games for the shear competitve aspect, and only players who truely enjoy the game still play.

i dont have a problem with the way tw is, I think it is fine but look at how many people keep claiming it's dying.... The only reason there are so few competitive squads is because all the better players bunch up on 30-40 man roster squads, think how many more competitive squads there would be if they kept around 20-25 players on a roster, that would easily create another 5 competitive squads.
