10 TWLD squads plz

the point is you have to prove at this point you are worthy enough of even playing in the league. it isn't twd where anyone can play. last year we had 12 and like 3 squads dropped out. i have no problem at all with 8 squads

when has quicksand ever done anything noteworthy in twl? they don't deserve shit. get the points, get the spot. that simple.

then neither does stray, because they let a cheater play in TWL finals to win, and him and deez nor many other players from the original stray are back on the squad

so why do they deserve auto qual when their new starters are bad players like royce... compared to old starters like delectable... what has stray done to deserve shit besides cheat? winning the league because you cheated shouldn't give you shit if you ask me

My whole thought is, this is a premium league. Only the best squads should be competing in it. Everyone always says at the beginning of TWL that there are only like three-four squads that can win it all, and they always do. Tossing in extra squads for extra games just makes everything take a lot longer.

I'd have less of a problem with 8 squads if the roster limit was smaller, so those squads that have a bunch of guys that usually end up benching when they should probably be starting on other squads, therefore, it could make sense there

It increases mid-level players twl experience, and can make for great strong squads next season. Not to mention, they can upset the better squads, and maybe cause a favourite to be knocked out in the first round of the playoffs or something you know?

Well I don't see it getting done anytime soon, with TWL so close. Especially with all the changes in structure and staff. However if this TWL runs smoothly I see no reason why staff wouldn't give the support needed to run an AML. I'd definatly help set it up, and run it. I love the idea.

TWL takes no time at all. It takes one day, how many weeks out of the year? If it was 2-3 games a day per team, or per week even, and you played 20+ games in the regular season before playoffs, then i'd agree with you. The argument of 3 league teams having to play more shouldn't hold any water-- they're attempting to win not 1, but 3 titles. Therefore, they should have to compete 3x as hard, so saying "o no, i have 3 matches today! how could i play six?" should really be seen as a sign that you're not able to compete on that level. With 8 teams in 3 leagues you have 12 matches. There's how many on at the same time? 3? Even with 16 teams in 3 leagues, you only have 24 games a day/week. 8 per league. Let more people host or monitor the games, what ever you have to do, i don't really know. I don't see how getting 3-6 ppl to watch 24 games a week is that taxing. It might be boring, but i'm sure there are plenty of people who want staff or <er> powers who'd do it.

TWL-D really REALLY needs at least 10 squads. I seriously think leaving it at 8 would be a big mistake - UNTIL we got an AML of some sort going. Then drop it to 8, and it's perfect.

With 8 squads, I really don't think you're going to need more than one, at most 2 replacement squads, if any at all. The top 8 are going to be made up primarily of squads like Thunder, Stray, Pirates, and etc. Squads that are highly unlikely to drop out. Which is great, but it means those 'decent replacement squads' aren't really getting much of a chance at stepping into twl at any point. Even with 10 squads, the replacement squads would be better than when we had 16. I wouldn't be surprised if not one of the 10 squads drop out. It's possible.

8 teams is too little.. There is no inviting newer squads to try. People are just going to be getting top 8 and stop playing, I can see it now.

I think you should raise the squads to 10, maybe 12. More competition, more upsets, more fun.. :/
