why is this even up for debate? captains and assistants try to pull off this kind of sub all the time, except most of the time it's a desperation move that results in a 51-xx loss. it's much harder to pull off in twd cuz of the delay, but in twl/twdt there is no delay, you do the !sub command and it executes immediately.

I believe that in TWL there is no delay for the subs too. I keep hearing about delays, but I know for certain that at least in LJ there isn't a few second delay and it takes place as soon as you get it through to the bot.

Well, I have to say.. Perhaps the appeal should have been made that the BOTS had made the mistake. Not that an illegal sub had been used.

They made the appeal on the grounds that the sub was illegal. Which in fact it wasnt. The command was sent PRIOR to the death. So the bot substituted the player. The sub itself was a legal sub.

Now had the appeal been on a bot malfunction. They may have had more of a case. Although I do not see this as a bot malfunction rather a lag issue, but it would be open to interpretation.

I was one of the Ops that was there when this happened, and this is my EXACT reasoning for why I voted for a deny.

This twl is awful.. get some old players as TWL mods, not these 2 year experienced bitches on periods who need to take out their frustration on squads.
