all star game is so the best of each squad compete against each other individually.... option #4 is the same as a TWDD game, that's a retarded idea...

look at it this way... displaced was probably an all-star for disoblige this season, he consistantly did good each game but just did not have the team around him to do much winning....

Now for all star games you want him to play with disoblige AGAIN and lose more? That's stupid.

Look at it like the NBA. In the early 80's, Micheal Jordan was an all-star player on a very shitty bulls team, and they did not get to the playoffs and lost a lot. In your idea of how the all star games should be run, he would never have made it to an all star game until the bulls started knocking down championships like a bowling pin. I don't agree with that.

Bumping this up since mirror disappeared.

Because of the recent TWL staffing issues, as well as the previous years allstar games being a joke. There will NOT be an 'allstar game' this season. However, Over the next week the TWL staff will discuss how to name a TWL allstar line for each of the divisions. We will keep you posted.

By the way I think if a TWL staffer leaves mid season they should be banned from being staff for the next season. Shit, you guys did it to me when I had personal problems, and I'm sure MirrorriM will come up with a hell of an excuse. But, fuck it? Am I right?

Twl staff goes hand in hand with active weekend staff. Those who can dedicate a specific time frame to help host or just happen to be on to fill the cracks. To ban someone for a year for Not volunteering more is funny and asinine to say the least. If anything hire more staffers who can commit to weekend hostings. The deans have done well with filtering out the inactives, and staff and I believe will continue to do well with finding more active ones to replace them with.

There's a reason why TW has a TWL Panel. Shit happens. The only difference is you dont see Twl dissolve when 1 person goes missing versus when 1 captain goes missing, alot like puma did. My post was also in reference to what hms said about staffing issues.

lol you are so right. I wasn't able to car a twl squad even though i was twl banned last season and had on involvement in twl. And yet a head twl staff member can go awol? She better be dead or dying because i want a good reason. And she should be banned from next twl and a long suspension from staff. What if no one stepped up to take her place?

The point being is that we dont have the time to organize all of this. Just picking an allstar team will be a pain in itself, we barely have enough TWL staff to run this season. Like you mentioned, With Mirror unable to finish this season, we have had a difficult time just making it run semi-smoothly.

HOWEVER, I am the head of ECT for a reason.....

If we all agree, and push it back 1 more week. I may be able to arrange something....

Maybe if I had 1 captain from each of the TWL finalists work with me...
we could set up 2 allstar teams for each league?

We really need to get on this if we will have it happening.
