Appeal - TWLB Quarterfinals: Mad vs. Penetrate

Summary: Mad contests that a bot malfunction led to the game's premature end and would like a replay to 20 minutes.

Status: Denied.

Initial thoughts: I wouldn't call it a bot malfunction as much as I would operator error, mostly on my part. After multiple attempts at getting a 20-minute module loaded for Dice-Brainwave, I threw in the towel and made it 15 minutes, and explicitly stated such in *arena messages during the adding process. I neglected to do this during Mad-Penetrate, which left some bases uncovered, and here we are. As soon as I wake up some other TWL ops, the discussion will begin.

Hey, at least we made it through the regular season without any of these.

it was a bitch getting our lineup together on a sunday to play a twl game but to have to do it again vs. Mad? haha, i think not!

Mad contends that had we have known it was to only be to 15 minutes we would have played a different lineup initially and gone about it differently. Also, as the time was running out we had broken into the base and were about to kill dead_rain. Who's to say given the extra fifteen minutes and the changes we had just made that were obviously for the better, considering our quick entrance into the cram that we could not have held out for the win? There should be a replay imo. We were not told about it being 15.

I could be a dumbass, but I'm pretty sure that the bot says what the race is to when the bot is started. Let me correct that, I KNOW the bot says that.

Also, to completely destroy your point scoop, I remember scrolling up in the log and seeing Turban cry about the 15 minute time race when the bot was started (this was right when the lineup additions began). Hard to say you guys didn't know it would be to 15 when your squadmember was crying about it. Had 7 minutes of lineup making to react and add the players you wanted.

Just because the bot says 15 minutes doesn't mean it couldn't be manually hosted to 20. Also the captains of mad, since we actually have stuff we have to do to help our squad unlike yourself, had pubchat off. Suck me sideways voth.

what? ?nopubchat doesn't block green text which is what the bot said. manually hosting it to 20 would have been inconsistent with the twlb game before it which was to 15. also.. manually hosted to 20? lol, how would the scoreboard work? then there would be appeals saying the timer was biased and wrong. lol give it up

Jason, you're small time compared to me. I would have benchwarmed for the TWL title trifecta if pascone didn't cheat by unbanning delectable for TWLD finals a few seasons ago. GG aka GET GOOD (at benching your way to titles)
