a few weeks later and 3 of those squads have folded and a couple have tried and failed in their stead

penetrate --- basing squad A
pandora --- basing squad B
dice --- going to win
lego --- dead
sweet --- beaten out of basing
sage --- officially on 'hiatus' in reality unlikely to return ?
freebie --- struggling for activity in bd a bit it seems
trauma positive --- EG squad some show potential and enthusiasm but lack depth of sharks at TWD level let alone TWL

Basing shoots itself in the foot when all the basers congregate onto 3 squads then whine that there is no competition. Hell a couple of days ago Pandora had 2 simultaneous BD's. i'm not gettting at them in particular as that is just the way it happens ... sometimes you cant bd cuase everyone is afk and sometimes 12 ppl show up.

Ultimately though there should be another proper basing squad thats competitive. At the moment dice have over 8:1 win ratio and a 19 current winning streak but haven't bd'ed in 4 days , then there is pandora and pene with vast rosters ... right now the league isn't as healthy as it could be and i say that knowing that it's fadeing as TW population dries up

quite frankly i'm not surprised it's like this as there is too many ego's that think they are hot shit and demand to win so running a squad is very hard work and thus you kinda have the cream of the crop dice and basing squad A vs basing squad B and virtually everyone else doomed to beat downs and failures due to a gulf in the depth of talent on the rosters. It's also hard to break through at all for any new comers and ?go base isn't running much for them to get some practice in, and learning shark or terr vs a superior team is hard and quite demoralising for most.

a couple of ppl asked me about starting up and capping a squad and i said i'd need about 20 active ppl that wont quit if they lose some games for me to consider it :P it's true enough and i know never going to happen given the current BD climate but anything other than that is amost a total waste of efforts

Well lets hope that guy is right when he says 1-2 new basing squads will come by TWL... if not, this TWLB will be even lamer then i thought, that is quite a disappointing list lol Season of 15-0 mass rape games, with dicE being the overwhelming favorites this season.

Still better then no squads, which by the time next year rolls in there prob wont be many left.

I am trying my best with squad so as to bring svsers into basing and leader is teaching them the basics of specific ships. Sure, our record is something around 3-405964, but our players do not cease to have fun and do improve vastly!
