eph, if youre going to be black and white about the rules at least listen to what youre saying. you just held fast to one part of hte rule but then blatantly ignored the other part (of how the game should have been killed.)

if youre going to be so hard up on ignoring 'the spirit of the rule' then you well certainly agree that there was a portion of this rule that has already been blown by staff in not killing the game right away.

like you said, either follow it to the exact letter, or allow the rule to do what it was meant to do. its clear that the rule is no longer able to be strictly followed 100% like youre requesting.

Trauma+ is just giving themselves a bad rep in this zone

their rep hit rock bottom the instant they recruited schope and fat mouse, it has nothing to do with this appeal

which is a complete waste of everyone's time because we're talking about a mistake that had absolutely no effect on the game whatsoever

Major Crisis lieing is not good, there was various ppl saying "merce not on roster" "he cant play, tell him to spec" saying otherwise is just pure bulshit as always.

1. Firstly this game was won before it started. For Jerome Scuggs, "showing class" would be having good sportmanship in defeat, instead of this. And im sorry for changing 1 player to jav?? where we could of started subs or even go with 3 specials, we didnt, as we used our best ppl on at the time . Im on Trauma chat since almost the beggining and helping Blahhy with advices and stuff and its just really funny when I ask your own Captain why is he appealing when they lost 7vs8 and merce had no effect on it, "is it a big deal to appeal?" "No, I want to cause drama" . Because if this is like this I can appeal if an ant touches my foot and therefore losing twl. Funny how even Blahhy didnt know he could appeal.

2. Cape subbed in for me, then subs himself out for Maketso, and then decided to go agaisnt of what ppl told him, use our last sub on Merce, and decided to test if the bot would let him to add or not.

3. Merce lagged out instantly, goes to reconnect, comes back and we told him to spec and he does. in the end he did absolutly nothing, nor influenced the game. It´s what Stylez said "Also, don't get me wrong, if Dice would have left merce in, or even subbed him out and didn't take the 7 v 8 handicap, I would totally agree with this appeal."

4. This absolutly changes nothing on trauma's run in twl, it will be their only win, as for Dice realisticly it wont hurts us. but if I want to be a pussy, I can say "imagine if we lose our 3 hardest lbs that are left vs Sage, Penetrate and Pandora". We could not make playoffs. (I Imagine some people want to see this..wonder if it was the same ones who told Blahhy he could appeal)

5. Turban said "as i see it, if we are going to enforce every single rule in twl then trauma+ is going to win this appeal. if we want to use common sense, then it'll be denied. " Because over the years I saw people appealing over bot abuses/errors, people lagging in clutch situations and winning important playoff games and still getting denied. Given I know how tw works, this is going to get granted (ill be really surprised if not.), I got one question for you Humid..dont get me wrong I like you and what you do, but ive never been a staff fan because of constant dictatorship and power abuses I saw over the years in tw in general. Wont this be just because a rule is a rule, you cant go back on your word and you just have to enforce it instead of using a fair judgment? in the end its why im annoyed, not because blahhy decided to appeal. Im not gonna get the answer I want but thanks in advance

I am not lying. Cape told me he lagged out before you guys even knew he wasnt allowed to play. Anyway this sub didnt really influenced the game positive for dicE, it was only negative for them since they played 7v8. We have to wait what the TWL ops decide.

ok then, me and mega knew he wasnt on roster, we were the ones who did the twl roster but nice effort. two other person said b4 he was subbed in "merce wasnt on roster". in reality the only one who didnt knew was cape, so no wonder he said that. ence why all this happening..cape's great idea of "testing bots" and generally doing what he wants whenever he wants.

Wait...are people actually saying that this match should be replayed? There is no doubt that this isn't grounds for an appeal. I have been part of some ridiculous appeals over the years, but this one easily takes the cake. I've lost a considerable amount of faith in humanity. Ghoul please locate my rope.

EDIT: I actually remember a similar appeal, I think Exalt played a match when he wasn't ineligible and went 0-5. He played half the game and the appeal was easily shot down because it was decided that having an impact meant getting a kill. Based on precedence this appeal should have been outright denied, especially since merce supposedly specced immediately and didn't even play.

I made this thread because, due to my prior experiences, I knew that this thread would manifest in some way shape or form. I figured I would simply do it officially to avoid the he-said she-said accusation posts that usually start the thread.

As for the claims that Trauma+ made an illegitimate appeal or a ridiculous one, I would disagree. They quite obviously (as eph pointed out) have grounds for a legitimate attempt at an appeal.

In regards to stoppage of the game, Major Crisis was the host and he is being consulted as to his decision to let it run as well as his opinion on the matter.

Currently 3 of the 5 opinions are in and we hope to have this resolved by the end of today or tmrw morning.
