I agree with you, give tittles to those who start and are usual subs. even if they want to be associated with that squad they dont deserve it if they just sit royst! staff has can change this. but this also has to be a player's decision, those who always sit/dont play twl consistantly in recent years or even dont play alot of twl games per year, form squads, join squads where you can actually play. oh this and 1 league squads with too many people (this season : penetrate (twld doesnt count here), savanger, asians) but this is one is not as important. but this is like talking to the wall so yea

Lol I like how people don't comment on some of the points I've mentioned about twl and concentrate on irrelevant shot.
Yes we know I'm not good without a desktop, I think I've already clarified this but you'll also see that I didn't have apok, racka and deez in with me. Why don't you pull up the stats of me from other twls when I was on my desktop and look what I did in playoffs when my other team members choked.
Back on topic, is anyone going to comment on my suggestions of titles and rules?

fierce with vys in the lineup: 1-2, with a win over the mighty penetrate and losses to the unstoppable asians and savanger juggernauts.
vys' cumulative record in these three games: 22-25.
fierce without vys in the lineup: 8-0, with only a close 50-46 loss in round 1 of the semifinals preventing them from completely running the table.

looks like you still don't have a title even if we play by your suggested rules. please go fall asleep on some train tracks.

But the rules are clearly stated on the twl website, how can someone change a rule which has been there for years?
On regards of breaking the softlock/hardlock rule, what if 10 other people decided to leave their twl squad and join another squad and then ask to be put back on their twl squad? The twl op would have no other choice but to do so, if he fails not to do so, then he's opening doors to be criticised. There can't be a rule for one and one for another.
The rules and punishments should be clear before the league starts, so once a rule is broken, the person incharge can dish out the punishment and then there's no arguments because we was all clear of the rules and the consequences if the rules was broken.

And do you seriously think people deserve a title if they dont participate in the league? It should only be awarding to the people who participate.
I've squaded with alot of players who would gladly sit on a stacked squad and brag about how good their team is in twl, when they don't even play.
It's only going to be fair and benefit the league if medals are awarded to the people who play in the league.

With regards to rules the ones you mentioned as trivial are rather arbitrary and every staff decision can be observed under a microscope to find some flaw in it. At the end of the day their role is to try to make TWL run as smoothly as possible. Some people are going to hate their decisions, some people are going to like them, its just the way it goes. You can't please everyone.

All you can ask of the TWL staff is to make a decision with reason and at least to the extent where you can understand rationally why the staff would make such a decision. Each one you mentioned there has been a reasoning that I can rationalize as being fair and not one that isn't tyrannical. At the end of the day, the season ended without any major mistakes, and TWL staff in no way influenced the result of TWL in the victors.

It's like comparing them to referees or the commissioner of a sports team, calls are going to be subjective, people are going to debate and wonder why they make a decision, but at the end of the day their role is to attempt to rule while minimizing their own personal influence on the result of the games. And TWL staff should be commended for that.

As for players joining teams for the sake of winning twl..for the most part players who are able to be competitive in their respective divisions will obviously want to play in the games. These are the players that you would say could be on another squad that can be competitive at the TWL level. Now if they are talented and competitive enough to play in the games, Why would they want to be sitting on the bench for 10 weeks hoping that their team will win TWL without him? that would be silly on their part. If you think you're good enough to start on a TWL team, sitting on the bench will just make you disgruntled.

If you are really just sitting on the bench just to collect that "ring" when you aren't guaranteed one then who cares? They don't care enough about their personal achievements that being on another squad wouldn't change anything. Clearly they want to be associated to that certain squad.

How is it ended? Read my last post, there's some valid points in there, how about giving your opinion on them instead of giving PH an excuse to close the thread and not answer my last post.

I like how you totally miss my whole post and concentrate on something I don't even care about. Answer the questions on the rules. I don't want the twld title, I don't deserve it, I didn't even play in the playoffs. I just did that because you gave me the opportunity to try my luck with getting a twl title because you failed to stick with the softlock and hardlock rules and ineligible player.
Can't you see, if you stuck by the rules throughout all of twl and then people like me couldn't try this and it wouldn't show off your abuse and favouritism because
you can't really bend rules for some people and not for others.
And I'm suggesting the rule of awarding twl titles to people who play in twl for their squad as of next season. It will bring more competition to the league.
Some people join a 1 league squad with 25 people on the roster, so that they can get a twl title, but like 10 out of 25 people play in twl, so that's potentially another squad to participate for twl.

I let off a Thor in a private arena when I was asked to do so by a smod at the time. And the other cases of cheating; I was an immature 15 year old at the time.
And you say why don't I do something and join tw staff. Well I have a applied, but when there's kids on staff like PH who threaten to leave if I'm recruited and then what can I do?
I've put forward a few ideas for tw dev and I also have some ideas about the rules, but I'm waiting for demonic to get back to me on these forums.
I no longer play the game because my desktop fucked up for me and then the replacement laptop also broke.
Why I've been moaning so much in this thread is because I'm trying to show how we have rules but the twl op hasn't stuck by them, for example adding hypocrit and infrared to their rosters after they've left after softlock and hardlock was put in place, and dice adding an illegible player vs trauma+.
What I'm trying to get across, is why do we have rules if a person can change them? How do we know the rules if the person enforcing them doesn't know the rules? That's why I've mentioned about the twld title. Simply because I see flaws in the league; one being that everyone joins a stacked squad, so that they can a free title. Why don't we only award titles to players that actually play in the league? players won't want to stay on a stacked squad if they think they won't get added and then won't get a twl title.
It would also bring newer and more squads into twl.

I agree that TW staff ought to strictly adhere to the established set of rules/guidelines. But this is a free, non-professional game run by volunteers who are as young as 14. The staffers aren't perfect molds for such roles, but most are doing their best to take on such responsibility (although some are plain useless, no offence). You have an idealistic vision for how the system should be, and you're not the only one, we all do. But what are YOU personally doing to contribute towards a more LEGIT system, other than bitching about something so minute, that could have easily been prevented had you known how to behave yourself. We, the players, can always call staff out but in the end, the staffers make the overall decisions. If you want to have a real impact on the system, volunteer to be a TW staffer.

Anyway, learn from your mistake and get over it. If you don't want to have a similar experience, don't put yourself in that position in the first place.
