What do you guys think of this idea ....

Get a few ppl to cover to each cover (spec) a basing game (one that they are not playing). They would give a recount of the game giving the highlights, key players, key moments, turning points in the game etc etc.

One thing all of these recounts should include, in order to streamline them would be: who won the fr warp battle in the beginning, scores during certain times (every 5-10 min), etc etc.

Do you think ppl would volunteer to cover a game once a week that they are not playing in?

I doubt you would be able to get people to turn up specifically for a match to write about it, but you could ask someone already at the match

Last year caps wrote reviews of the matches and submitted them to Push for Trench Center. Rumour has it that Trench Center returns this week. Probably won't be as in depth as you'd like, but it's probably more reliable (in terms of showing up every week).

very good idea, there's enough people that like to watch most of the games, i'm sure you could round up a number of them to give a detailed account...or even do it on a chatline

What I meant was that you aren't necessarily assigned to write a specific game. You can CHOOSE a game to write about. But as a "reporter" you should at least watch one of the matches and write about it every weekend.

I would do it. I took notes on everything for the Shriek vs Rampage match but I didn't make a report out of it. good idea

If someone is put incharge of something like this...then they should assign people to matches. It'd work out best for everyone.

Usually got my hands full during diso-games..

I've givin this matchreport-topic a lot of thought a while ago. I like writing them, but dont have the time to do all basegames every weekend (exams coming up :/).
On the other hand. Give me a slice of power ( e.g. being able to update the trench center site) and a list of competent people who are willing to write a matchreport on a weekly basis and I'll make sure the reports get to whereever they need to go.
