How about the LJ appeal be made in its own thread, and not in a thread called TWLB Qualifications Appeal?
-
As Ease pointed out, we were qualified both Saturday 11:59 EST and Sunday 11:59 EST, ergo, will not be asked to participate.
EDIT: flared, Hit was odd-man out Saturday, Sweet on Sunday. as for the person inquiring about JD ladder, Asians were #11 on Saturday I believe.Last edited by ogron; 05-03-2011, 08:03 AM.

Oranje why are you mentioning stuff that doesn't matter?
"A lot of things about the ladder can change every day, Paladen might have done this last week, but they did that Sunday... how is that different."
Lol? What is different? Saturday/Sunday was the ladder lock, thats the diffrence, and it's everything. You can't compare the last weekend to any weekend as this was the last deciding chance for the squads to make it to LD/LJ/LB and it was announced to be on Saturday and not Sunday. How can you not get it? You're the one being subjective towards Asians. If you would be in the situation like Diso / Sweet are you would be whining and appealing just as much.
How can it not be fair for everyone to do a mini tourny to see who is the best squad for the leagues? Scared you aren't good enough or what?

I meant twlj, twlb is a different thingOriginally posted by Reab View PostPS: wasnt i just defending paladen in lb.. ? Guy is taking it personally, im out..
You're doubleposting etc. But I am taking this personally? :<. Ur just repeating what u said earlier btw with the saturday sunday thing and I disagree... see my earlier posts...Originally posted by Reab View PostBut it was pretty obvious that a guy from Asians will pop now and defend his squad as Paladen did before and hit did, now that soilderz is defending the fact that he was qualified on saturday aswell.
Fact is tho, that squads that were qualified on Saturday and kicked out on sunday, should have a chance to get qualified, since this issue has been caused by us staffers and the responsible department, and not Sweet / Disoblige.

To me it is starting to look as if you are very subjective and like to see Paladen and Asians out of twl.
oh and i do not think they were #5 at the time of the lock

"not very smart" = invalid argumentOriginally posted by Reab View Post#10 would be us, tho we were qualified on both days, means we are safe. If you see it like that, and Paladen was the squad that was not qualified both days, they are #5 and safe? not very smart

ahh ok, 1) But that is not totally an answer to "unequal chance for squads that could have gotten to twl but didnt think they would make it anymore coz they thought lock happened".Originally posted by Reab View PostIts possible to check that. And no more appeals besides a Wb appeal can happen, since in lb and lj, no other squads had the possibility to participate due to missing games
2) Asians qualified as #9 on the jd-ladder, we should be safe, let #10 and Disoblige handle it.Last edited by Oranje; 05-03-2011, 06:43 AM.

Also some squads can still claim they were top 10 Saturday while they were not...
(I do not mean your squad)

No it wouldn't be fair as it's not the same thing.Originally posted by Oranje View PostNot saying its the same, but would not that be fair too if your and sweet's appeal get approved?

And no they can't claim as we have database access and we can check it

But some squads outside top 10 had enough players on but just didnt bother anymore...I guess lot of appeals can follow then?

there are currently 11 squads in jd with more than 30 games.
I know disoblige was in #10 on saturday, and wasnt on sunday
What I do NOT know is if Asians/Paladen was in TOP 10 or not on saturday, but they were on sunday
I bet there will be the same situation in jd/lj as in bd/lb.

My guess is that EITHER Asians or Paladen were #12 or 13 in twjd ladder on saturday BUT qualified because of more games than mambo etc.
I bet there will be the same situation in jd/lj as in bd/lb.
Either Asians or Paladen were already qualified on Saturday too!
now we need to find out who of them, because that means the squad was qualified on both days, and has a secure spot. The other one NEEDS to vs. Disoblige in a Tourny, Suggestions is best of 3 as above mentioned for bd/lb.
Now that there is an official appeal by soilderz, me in my position as staffer has to support him, not being involved into the situation and/or being a part of either the 3 squads. You can see that im quite fair, since Paladen would be the more easier opponent for us. But all of this has to be handled fairly..
My support has nothing to do with the decisions made by twl-ops since i am not on their team.
