TWLB Qualifications Appeal - Sweet

I have the TWBD ladder information as of the time in which Sweet thought cutoffs took place and it is:

12:00am May 1st
12. Disoblige - 875
13. Sweet - 871
14. Paladen - 847
15. Hit - 809

11:59pm May 1st
12. Paladen - 894
13. Hit - 875
14. Disoblige - 875
15. Sweet - 860

As you can see both Paladen and Disoblige were qualified at both times and therefore will not be asked to participate in a qualification match as I stated earlier. At the first qualification time Hit was not qualified. At the second qualification time, Sweet was not qualified. So, Sweet will play Hit for preseason week 1 and the losing team will be removed from TWLB. The rest of the squads will play preseason as usual.

Dude , the only reason why u include pala in ur tourny is because you think we are a for sure win , you probably will lose to hit and don't wanto risk a 1v1, if dice was below you on Saturday and you were both qualified and on Sunday hit and dice moved up and took your spot,would we be having this conversation?

I agree with menelvagor, it might not be a bad idea to let these newer players / squads in, yeah they will probably get shitted on hard, but chances are they will actually try and might play a few games close, even pull out a upset or so , probably not. But still overall, if I had just began playing this game, and got my ass whooped in a twl game, I would want to prove myself after that, then again this could possibly be just my thinking, but who knows, it could go both ways, its a good way to increase population in our so called dying game right? just a thought.

ur incessent arguing is nonsense. its all staffs fault, not pala or azns. Of course every squad is going to jump at an oppertunity to qualify. if staff gave me the chance id take it too, would i back out if some elitist goon told me to? of course not i would rub it in their fuckin faces, just like every single one of you would. this does not change the fact that its all staffs fault and the tourny will be only way to salvage any bit of fairness even though its unfair to the squads who sneaked in.

ph mentioned something about this ima run with it. another way of looking at this is virt in that one season. we knocked ancients out last minute literally. ancients crumbled into dust and virt was strong for a long time morphing into barcada then respect then pandora and now sage. perhaps it was that very first twlb season were we went 3-8 or 4-8 at very best that allowed for multiple cup runs from those very same virt nubbers. (mind you i think we beat the likes of dice and spastic which were contenders that season overall not the worst first twl season a squads seen)
maybe new blood is good? maybe smashing them into the ground to get the vets in will be more competition, maybe ousting any new baser/squad from the league is going to be bad for the league? who knows, what we do know is its all staffs fault and lets tourny FTW

As Reab said, and I completely agree with him, the time change affected many unexpected captains. If we are to accept that the time change is the reason for granting this appeal, then we must consider the TWD ladder as it was on May 1st, 12:00am. Sweet was ahead of both Paladen and Hit at this time; both squads benefited from an accidentally added day of playtime.

Sounds legit and could be done that way aswell, Tho i like the idea of letting the squads compete that only were qualified on1 day more, but both sound really good

Well from what I have read people seam to be a bit up tight that Paladen Quailfy for twlb.This sadess me to no in that KIDS would even argue Paladen wins.Paladen has never cheated nor will they ever cheat in a game or I would disolve this squad for good.Or do I tolerate any kind of cheating in the squad.Why can't people be happy that Paladen has once made TWL.It is sweet fault for not going after the games during crunch time not Paladen fault.
