5 secs and i killed a2m with a burst which sealed the deal as he rushed in. But srs this hatred of Paladen is
complete bs. We have a solid crew of people that have played for more then a decade in this community and
new additions of players who can compete with the best .We have and have had many staffers and players
who for many years contributed to this community and this is what we get from some of you trolls?

I included Paladen not because I believed they weren't good enough for TWLB, but because Sweet was ranked higher than both Paladen and Hit at the time of the initial deadline. My appeal being from my own squad's perspective, we should have qualified ahead of both of these squads. That is my reason for including them in the proposed tournament.

how can u argue about a feed when last night 60 ppl in bd arena watched hit get fed twice, they even cancelled a bd with dice when they realized that dice wouldn't feed them

we watched dice feed you guys as well. And seeing as how you got more points from that win. a2m was ramming mines.

I BD'd pene at 11 or so, in a 5s game, and felt they were playing normal. I didn't watch their terr ram mines lol.

Besides the point. I say to be completely fair, play a little round robin and see how it goes. Not going to beat on pala's players saying 'oooh fuk paladen oohhh smokes bowls, shaggy2dope, etc.' they were more active than us and were more prepared. But as far as who is the better team, we are. We went through a down period, but we are revamped.

Sad to see some players still on their high horse railing on pala's members as a reason not to let them in LB. Was excruciating to watch some of these BDs at the end, regardless of what squad you were on. Zhou acting like he is the giver of light when he accepts our BDs. Got pretty despicable towards the end there. But, in the end, whatever happened, happened.

I Don't care the outcome either way, but it would be unfair to take anyone out the running bc some team just decided to sit on point at 800. Wow good job the day of deadline. And honestly paladen shouldnt even be in the story here, we played a game vs dice yes, it prob wasn't fair ok. It was 1 game. Not like hit playing 2+ games getting fed hardcore without practically a challenge. At least Dice made us work for it...

We have all very well seen what staff are capable of doing. If staff were "TAKING THEIR PLACE" as you put it, squads wouldn't be getting away with points from a 15-0 game that was never played, among many other things, during a TWL qualifying period. Staff are just as human as you or I and can easily look over things by mistake. So I am wll within my "place" to point those things out. I do in fact play the game, therefor I have just as much right to post my opinion as you do.

Admittedly, I thought qualification ended 12 AM May 1st as it said on the website, and told my squad the same. That said, it's fairly obvious this appeal has to be granted, but I think you're all going about it the wrong way. Paladen was qualified Saturday night AND Sunday night. Terrible or not, their position in LB can't be questioned. The issue here is that Sweet was qualified as of Saturday night at 11:59 PM, and Hit wasn't. But Sunday night at 11:59 their positions reversed. The website said one thing while the TWL Ops implied another, which makes each outcome somewhat legitimate. It isn't fair to Paladen to force them to play in a qualification tournament when they were qualified both nights. The best scenario is to simply have a head-to-head match between Sweet and Hit for the final spot. There are rules for a reason. You can't throw Paladen into the mini-tournament just because you think they don't have a chance. If you wanted to keep them out so badly you should have said something several weeks ago or changed the rules for qualification. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of Paladen being in TWLB but there's nothing you can do about it. Citing one forfeit is meaningless, as I'm sure the majority of LB squads experienced a forfeit in some form.

TLDR format: Should be head-to-head between Sweet and Hit. Paladen was qualified under both circumstances.

That would be my argument as well. There wasn't an issue until Penetrate fed all three squads below us in an attempt to knock us out of TWLB. Hit, Sweet and Disoblige's only wins leading up to cut-off date were vs. Penetrate.

While Hit may have been egregiously pursuing feeds, the true culprit here is Penetrate. Of course, they're an important part of the basing ecosystem so nothing bad will happen to them. Like a pyromaniac they stand and watch the fire they started burn from afar, flames dancing across their pupils, safe from the damage they caused but close enough to revel in it's destruction.

To clarify this (somewhat irrelevant) issue, let me just add that they asked for a cancel late in the timer count. I was going to take the points, but an outcry from squadmates over the ethics of it forced my hand and I "!cancel"'d to the bot with about 10-15 seconds left. Pandora said it wasnt enough time to "!cancel" back to the bot, then hurled a few insults our way and left.

Seeing how paladen has qualified, they can pick up some basers and get a decent line in for LB.

We have been and continue to actively recruit for TWLB. We did not attempt to qualify to TWLB for the roster spots, that issue was addressed weeks ago when Flared increased the roster limit.


Our intention is to try to be as competitive as possible in TWLB, fielding 8 players every week, and hopefully grow an arm in Paladen that bases. Variety is the spice of life, and I am not alone in finding playing Ship 1 over and over again rather boring.

we going by this logic again? last time on paky dudes squad build we legitimately qualified for lb and were screwed because mods decided that juice were better basers even though they were below us and didnt have enough games. Juice were disqualifed after 2nd week after not being able to field 8, stop using the argument just because were not basers. we will field 8 every game and most likely will lose every1 badly. I don't see hit or sweet winning any either unless against eachother.

I am going to pray to whatever gods will hear me out tonight.
