twlb season 15 overview
season 15 looks to be an extremely competitive one with many top notch squads with plenty of experience. Expect a lot of upsets and real tight for the last couple of playoff spots.
Sage
terriers – diakka, mikkiz, vehicle
sharks – menelvagor, mattey, apocalypse wow!
Spiders – hypocrit, gazo, spikey, m_m god, glavitik, superstar-prokiller, squallff8, hellkite
mix a bunch of eurolag with the virtuosus core and you get sage, separately these two groups usually have strong lb showings with consistent playoff appearances. Not a whole lot of weakness here diakka or mikkiz should be able to handle terring, mattey and mene both play a solid shark, and whole lot of spids that can get the job done. Spikey and m_m god can also special to add another element to their lineups. These guys are top contenders for the title this year.
Dice
terriers – blahhy., chief utsav, cape
sharks – a2m, ciggy, dwopple, tabarnak!!!
Spiders – cripple, stayon, megaman89, necromotic, mikes, sphinx, nokkonen, poxy
these guys are seasoned vets, with cripple, stayon (if lag isnt an issue), and mm89 leading the spid assault, a2m, ciggy, dwop and tab are all solid sharks, with a nice combination of defensive play and aggressive mining, they should all be interchangeable throughout the season, the only ship that does not field all-star caliber players is terr, blahhy., chief and cape can all play terr and as long as they can play passively and stay out of harms way they should be fine. Look for dice to make a run at another championship.
Anti-scrub
terriers – brookus
sharks – downfall, ephemeral, omega red, teh super
spiders – teh super, epic li, sprained, solacer, idk&idc, omega red, nao, sulla
bunch of old school basers led back for another season, brookus will likely be terring, with downfall and ephemeral as sharks, not a whole lot of spid depth though. Look for teh super and solacer to be doing most of the carrying for the spids. As long as brookus doesnt emo out midgame versus the lower tier squads these guys should be in a dogfight for the last playoff spot.
Penetrate
terriers – cintra, fermata, wingzero
sharks – veloce, fermata, plenty o’toole, davy
spiders – trasher, outshined, davy, royst, zhou, turmio, temporary, tsumetai, pavement
last seasons lb winners hasn’t really changed their look too much, with cintra returning to terr another season, veloce and fermata have proven to be a strong sharking pair, and a spider lineup with a lot of depth, led by trasher, outshined and davy. Strong under play from zhou and turmio will likely attribute to penes strong flagroom play. Look for these guys to be in contention for another championship this season.
Pandora
terriers – tim, sleazy
sharks – vatican assassin, sweater, sleazy, remezetti
spiders – renzi, sarger, baffling, pardon, zung, dsin, leitz, sleazy
this is not the same pandora squad seen last year in the finals, with less depth at all positions. Tim will likely see a lot of playing time at terr, with a strong combination of vati and sweater in shark backing him up. Aggressive pushing from renzi, sarger, zung and leitz along with vati and sweater mining all over the place will be enough for these guys to make a strong showing in the playoffs.
Thunder
terriers – maketso, burnt, mythril
sharks – mythril, violence, hulk, ease
spiders –teemo, ro, ease, hulk, burnt, struck, confluence, fludd, raples, saetep
thunder is back for another lb season, though they never seem to be recognized as a top tier basing squad. Burnt should probably start in terr, he can really play defensive and keep his team in flagroom battles. Their sharks seem to be a little suspect, since myth and viop have been second options on their past squads and hulk and ease would be better served in spid. Teemo can either jav or spid being effective in both and ro, ease and hulk will hold it down in spid. These guys are good enough to upset any of the top squads and will probably be seen in playoffs.
Spastic
terriers –pure_luck, schope norris, jamal
sharks – meddi, the_paul, stabwound, schope norris
spiders – anidalife, jamal, usoi, rucci, public assassin, schope norris, humid, ri$e again$t
with the right players showing spastic can show a really strong line. As much as people rag on pure_luck for playing a bad terr he can play it well enough to no blow games, meddi and the_paul can both definitely shark, but if stab shows for games look for him take a starting spot. Jamal will be lead spid, with solid backup from rucci, pub ass, and schope, and anidalife holding down under. These guys can be dangerous and will look to squeeze into the playoffs.
Paladen
terriers – jessup, murder
sharks – duclover, shock, burg
spiders – murder, frank the tank!, shock, tomas hakke, coroner, claushouse, producer, eradicate
paladen seems to be a little out of place in lb, with not a whole lot of basers that know what they’re doing. Jessup will try his hand at terr. Duclover and burg seem to be the strongest two sharks on paladen so hopefully they show. Murder, frank the tank! And tomas will probably be doing most of the leading in spid. 8v8 is a lot different than 5v5 guys get some practice in before season starts or you guys will probably struggle winning a game.
Disoblige
terriers – thix, wax, endangered
sharks – burzum, wax, bonghits, depress
spiders – cyclone, campion, endangered, jerome, j.po, remu, paralyze, zazu, wax
disoblige is back showing a lineup that probably wont include many of their familiar faces. Thix can be successful in terr if he doesnt try to be a hero, burzum hasnt really been active so bonghits and depress will probably start in shark, and a mix and match of spids that end up showing from game to game. Cyclone, j.po and wax will try to carry the spids. With the right people showing diso can fall somewhere in the bottom in the middle tier squads. A couple of upsets and these guys could potentially make the playoffs.
Thanks to the one game playoff, only one of the two following squads will actually be in twlb
hit
terriers – void ray, heisman
sharks – heisman, void ray, siaxis, redaz
spiders – 1.337, skatarius, void ray, qwas, erias, disney, brokenfist, bender rodriguez
after the departure of several decent basers, royst, jeenyuss and pavement hit has been reduced to only a few basers that have the ability to compete. Void will likely do the terring, even though he would have been one of the top sharks or spids in this lineup. Shark depth is a little concerning as heis, siaxis and red arent known for their sharking. The spid lineup will be led by 1.337 with not a ton of recognizable spids following him. If brokenfist shows he can wb and will greatly help the fighters.
Sweet
terriers – tiduz, eelam, riverside
sharks – not in game, marge, riverside, eelam
spiders – caos, eelam, seismic, ricko, engineers, sal, jones, dsb
sweet was going to left out of lb, but due to the appeal we will be seeing them this weekend against hit for the final spot. Im not sure how much experience tiduz has in terr but he will likely be the starting terr for sweet this season. Any combination of not in game, marge and riverside will probably shark, but if they struggle look for eelam to shark. They have some half decent spids with eelam, caos, and jones who can carry but thats about it. If sweet shows a decent line against hit they should win fairly easily but will need a bunch of strong performances during the season to make the playoffs.

this is not the same pandora squad seen last year in the finals, with less depth at all positions. Tim will likely see a lot of playing time at terr, with a strong combination of vati and sweater in shark backing him up. Aggressive pushing from renzi, sarger, zung and leitz along with vati and sweater mining all over the place will be enough for these guys to make a strong showing in the playoffs.

thunder is back for another lb season, though they never seem to be recognized as a top tier basing squad. Burnt should probably start in terr, he can really play defensive and keep his team in flagroom battles. As much as people rag on pure_luck for playing a bad terr he can play it well enough to no blow games, meddi and the_paul can both definitely shark, but if stab shows for games look for him take a starting spot.
