oh and I did look at what you posted earlier, I never said that I would or wouldn't play them in any league, I'm not even a (C) for any squad and last time I checked you don't have to be to say something is messed up. Don't confuse my points made with others, whether or not TWL ops decide to allow them to play at all or just in one league or all leagues doesn't change much for me because I'm not a (C) and I don't choose starting lineups. If TWL ops decide to only allow the players that joined Real from Ancients in TWLJ and Rule decides to not play them, that's his choice. I just made the thread because Flared said that they weren't allowed to play period (in game, to Rule).

You've basically admitted that my points "don't work on you" because I would gain some advantage if implemented. You must feel really smart to have figured out that I'm spending my time to actually get some benefit. Typically in the past people start threads and change things that don't affect them at all. In fact, all appeals for TWL matches in the past were started by players on squads that weren't involved in the match...seriously?

I'm pretty sure that you too think it's a bad idea to force captains to play certain players. Obviously if the players leave their resigned/dissolved squad to another squad where they're going to bench then that's their choice as it has always been. I'm talking about things there are more out of your control, like your captains deciding to dissolve/resign...it's making no sense because you don't have a fucking leg to stand on.

1. There will always be people who LIKE to be on underdog squads.

2. Ancients did not dissolve, they got disqualified. Since in some of your points, you mention "if player is loyal to a squad and it dissolves why should they get punished"

...if someone is loyal to a squad, they generally know the squad pretty well and know how stable the captain is [and generally he/she is a stable captain(who would be loyal to their captain if that captain is a huge fuckface) , aka if brookus remade A-S tons of people would rejoin because they are "loyal" and they know that brookus would not dissolve mid-twl]

Ofc there are exceptions liek QS.. but even them I don't think even they would dissolve mid-twl. Also, isnt there some rule that if a squad is dissolved then that cap can't be the cap of a twl again?


If anything.. actions like these make it MORE likely that squads are going to dissolve because then players on SQUAD X will realize they have another opportunity.

I really think if they are allowed to be put on Real's TWL roster, Real should have to play them in the next 2 LJ's they play. Would make sense to me since they are arguing how valuable they are and wasting everyone's time.

Certainly some rules pertaining to squads that dissolve really early in the season need to exist, but they don't right now. Discussion of adding or changing rules mid-season has only lead to people crying and moaning and bitching their way to a 6 page forum topic. It's something that needs to be addressed between seasons. That said, since Ancients dissolved after Week 2, and after the Soft Lock, their rostered players should be ineligible to play for the remainder of the season. That's how it should go right now. Is it unfair to them? Maybe. But it's also unfair to every other squad who didn't bother pursuing those players to bolster their own rosters because of the rules already in place. Ancients dissolving mid-season and their players not being able to play in TWL is not going to kill the game or the zone faster than every time a squad ran by Paky Dude did.

Awesome, someone that actually read the thread and provided a legitimate counter-point. I agree with you, if other squads would have known they probably would have picked up some of the players as well. Alternatively the TWL ops could check with the other captains in LB, Megaman already said that he couldn't care less in LB and I'm not positive but I believe that's where Rule wants to utilize trouble.
