The roster cap should be implemented now. This way, as people start coming back from hiatus to warm-up for TWL, they'll see rosters are full/capped and they'll be more inclined to start new squads if they want to play.

I think if the roster cap is that low players should be able to get added to twl roster at will even late at the season and even join late with some restrictions

I'm all for not allowing benchers to get twl medals provided you remove all already existing ones from all last season's benchers (good luck tracking that). Else it's a pretty dumb idea, since the change isn't fair for some. You don't have to start in twl and yet be a very valuable asset for the squadron if you participate actively in twd, spec coord/give deaths and show up every week to cheep a team up. Don't know why not reward such cases.

So if I start and finish 4 games in LD, win the division, never played in an LJ and my squad wins the division, I only get the LD medal? Isn't 4 games a little excessive? I think participating in 25% of your games and being beneficial is worthy of getting a medal.

I thought I made this clear, sorry. If you qualify for ANY medal for your team, you get ALL medals that your team earned.

If your squad is in multiple leagues, you can qualify by playing 4 games in any league as long as you play the minimum amount of time.

I agree with what VT said. All the current medals should be removed and rules applied to all past seasons possible to make medals mean something.

However as rasaq highlighted, there is an obvious flaw with these proposed rules: I can deservingly qualify for a medal and then get given another for which I could have done nothing towards. This is the whole reason of applying rules for medals... so they aren't given for no reason!

However, VT counters this, how are we to know what contribution a player made towards a league? They may have supported vitally in spec by coording or providing deaths. So we could have a finalists medal given to all players that were on a league winning squad that didn't do enough to qualify for a medal.

If I am allowed to finish off twlm, I will be going over old player Twl stats for old past seasons so I could easily sort medals out as a side job.

What a terrible idea this is with the roster caps, what group of idiots thought of this and then decided to implement it? 20 people for lb squads and still only 20 for lb +ld/lj? What kind of sense does that make? Make it 20 for an lb squad and 25 for an lb and lj/ld squad and then 30 for a triple league squad. This is so fucking dumb I can't stand it, if you have all 5 of your starters show for lj and ld and all 8 for lb which NEVER EVER happens in regular season and sometimes not even in the playoffs that leaves you with 18. So we have 7 subs spread out for 3 fucking leagues? Obviously whoever thought of this never was a captain of a competitive squad or probably a player in one.
