I think what he's saying is that the rule doesn't state that the minimum number of players for a LB is 7. It says you can play 7v8 and that you need the minimum amount of players but it never says that 7 IS the minimum amount of players. A semantic argument but a valid one.

And claus don't start equating TWL to sports (even fake sports like golf). I can't call Fifa and complain that a player got a PK for a dive, or the NBA and explain that somebody flopped for the free throws, or the NFL and explain that that pass interference wasn't actually pass interference. If your team didn't play in the game you shouldn't have a right to appeal in my opinion.

if that is the case then why aren't the bots coded to automatically forfeit a match when there's less than 7 players playing for one of the squads when the match starts. It's an easy change to code.

Pretty sure they just did a quick "right click, rename" to the twd bots. If that's the case though, I want a code added to the bots to have fake mechanical arms attached to my monitor that will hand me a towel after every match ends, be effing sweet. :sweatdrop:

Hosting TWL games hasn't ever been taken seriously, it is simply a way to get 3 easy quota points. You need 3 simple commands (!gameid, !startpick, !ready) and you can go afk until the end of the game. "Host" 1 game in each league every week and you have pretty much your entire monthly quota. There are no standards or pre-quals for becoming a TWL host, only that you are an ER or higher. When I was a TWL-Op we asked people to read the rules and know them but there isn't really any way to follow through with it, plus we were all working with people that actually played in TWL before and knew the deal. Not calling out anybody in particular but the current batch of hosts/ops have mostly never seen a single minute of playtime in TWL and a majority of them don't even play TWD or are even on an actual squad. Granted we all have to suffer from a lack of viable options to choose from to run this league but I think the powers that be missed the target by a longshot on this one.
