If you do cap the arena how is the host/bot/competitors going to get back in the arena if they lag out?

Unless you can make a bot that will never lag out during matches and make him be able to allow only players from the 2 squads playing and other bots to join the arena, then capping is not worth it. It will just cause too much trouble.

I'm 95% sure arena capping can be handled via settings. Coding the bot to alter a "vip.txt" according to the two currently playing squads doesn't sound all that difficult either. I don't think it would be too much trouble at all. :]

I don't see how players in spec can add to the lag. Capping the number of people in an arena would be stupid anyway. If someone wants to watch, let them watch. Its a game, let people have fun. Capping would take away the fun for some.

You guys are stupid. I don't know how you people put entertaining the annoying speccers over the fairness of the league matches. Yah, sure there are some bad sides to having a Capped arena but WHO CARES? That's beside the fact you guys are actually putting the annoying, whiny, bitchy, spamming speccers over the lag equity of a league match.

Even if more people in an arena doesn't cause lag, it does for me and for quite alot more people that I know. It happens over and over again so it must be true.

I think alot of you guys have good points. But heres mine: I say let the public have a right to watch any match they please. It adds excitement to the game ect. Also, its a good way to simulate a real life playoff game. Usually playoff games attract big crowds and the players have to prove they can play under the spotlight. It adds a nice twist to the game, if you ask me. Keep it the way it is. [=
