oh tiny is absolutely at fault here. i tried explaining this to him calmly before calling him all the names he deserved to be calls, but he was arrogant and fond of his duty as mall cop. he claimed that he was the one who personally added me to Wolf's TWL roster, so he'd know about my situation best.

we punish players for making mistakes because of their stupidity, this moron shouldn't be allowed to help out with TWL. one of the few weeks i can actually show and he goes on a complete power trip. definitely won't be able to show next week, so yea, i'm pretty pissed off. the fact that you had both teams saying it was fine, and it wasn't a matter of a day (this is assuming Tiny wasn't an idiot with wrong facts), but HOURS is complete nonsense. absolutely dreadful.

since wolf's appeal is being granted, pandora is appealing our lj game vs value. we were going to sub in steadman but we spoke to ricko and tiny during the game and were told that he wasnt eligible. logs show that this conversation happened around the time the game was tied around 30-30

just a thought - if River has already confirmed he cannot play next weekend shouldn't we re-schedule the rematch to be on a weekend he can? It seems completely pointless having the rematch without the player in question that this whole appeal is around, it would just be another shot for Wolf to try and beat Value with the same line they used yesterday?

Riverside is ineligible due to the following rule. He was added after 1pm Saturday, and before the hard lock took place that Sunday following the final TWL game. He was therefore unable to play in week 4 vs. Value. Wolf decided to add Riverside after being told not to and is now warned.
3.05c Waiting Period
The Standard Waiting Period for roster eligibility goes as follows: Any player joining a squad for participation in Trench Wars League (this includes changing names), will be subject to a 1 Round Waiting Period after being accepted by the squad Captain. Players will not be eligible to participate in Trench Wars League matches until a round occurs in which the player cannot play (Example: Players joining the Tuesday after round 3 will not be allowed to play in any games until round 5). Saturday 1PM EST is the start of the next round.

You're a fucking faggot Tiny. Staff like you are reasons why this game is dying. You honestly should be axed for retarded things like squad cap which nobody in TW wanted. This is why I made that thread that you tried entering and got torn a new one in, because of stupid rules like this. Why the fuck would any player need to wait a round to be eligable to play? I couldn't play due to hardlock, so I'm never eligable, but obviously riverside was. So why the fuck couldn't he play?

Here's a few legit questions to all TWL ops: What EXACTLY is the point of this "wait a week/round to be eligable to play" rule for? HOW does it add anything to TWL? What exactly does it help? Do any of you honestly view this rule to be productive whatsoever in any positive way?

I thought Reckful said Tiny wasn't informed about Riverside because Reckful was busy with real life and update him? IMO...if there's a rematch due to an appeal they should make it 3 rounds falling on an agreed date. The squad that makes the appeal needs to win round 1 to make it 3 rounds.

lack of communication was the issue here. tiny just followed a rule from the twl website. even if value said it was ok, it would have been a pretty bad move on tinys part to go against the rules. dude couldn't win either way.

this is just another proof that the cool-down period and eligibility system is broken, with outdated rules and some people who try to enforce rules (like he's supposed to) will become public enemy #1. Even if we use the common sense arguement in this scenario then every player should get the same treatment which hasn't been the case. now that hardlock is in place this will (hopefully) become a non-issue. still sucks for burnt who lost his 17-5 though
