Hey, im just chuffed that so many ppl have taken interested. Admittedly over half of the 100 or so replies are flaming but anyway...I reckon that TWL is still competive this season, so why should the qualification needs be changed? I know many top TWD squads are eager to get into TWL, and good for them. Perhaps an expansion of the league could accomodate them. I am also not totally against dropping some squads, but I really don't see the need for it. Squads do disband, and then there are spaces for new squads to come in.

i agree, keep twl stable. dont drop stable sturdy teams in order to allow the latest version of thrown together squadhoppers into TWL, they wont last. 2 teams should be dropped at the most. maybe even 1...like just drop the team that finishes with the worst rec in TWL. other open spots will come from dissolving teams.

Um, copy, I don't really care about other squads getting an oppertunity to play as much as I care about playing a good game everyweek. Basing pallies and diso is fun. Basing no surrender isn't.

I still firmly believe that we need to drop 2 teams in TWLB from 16 to 14 next season. WE DO NOT WANT SQUADS DROPPING OUT ANYWHERE DURING THE SEASON [PERIOD]. The fact that so many basing squads dropped out of leagues proves that we don't have enough STABLE and competitive squads out there to keep a stable and competitive league. So at this point I think that ops should really go ahead with the intention of having 14 TWLB squads next season ... of course, if we start seeing more and more stable and competitive squads forming and ACTIVELY competing in TWDB ... ONLY then should we consider upping the # of TWLB squads back up to 16 or beyond.

It's better to form a good base/foundation for a basing league by starting off with a stable 14 group of squads and then working ourselves up to a 16 squad league. There is no reason to start off too big and having squads drop like flies (yeah yeah cliche phrase).

Ah ok, well my squad plays TWLD and B. Personally ( and I do not speak for the squad) I think that at least one squad should go down in TWLD and the top TWDD squad could come up. Or perhaps a playoff system in TWD where the top 16 fight for a chance to be in TWL. This would kill two birds with one stone, as TWL would be getting new squads while TWD would become more competitive, with squads aiming to be in the top 16 or whatever and fight it out for a TWL spot. Just what I think anyway..

granted, there was some instability this season, but that would probably happen even if there were only 5 squads. The number of basing squads is growing. I'm pretty sure that you couldn't even find 16 squads to play 1 year ago. if the next TWL starts in winter, maybe it'll be just right. 2 years from now there will be 30 squads that want to play, and I think the number should stay at 16. then it'll mean something to be a twl team.

on a side note...lowring the teams mite help the problem of stability...or not...bc ur sayin glower it to 14..then DROP squads...that will be droping the most stable squad in teh league who wont drop out for sure...(ns,bs)..we know they will show 8, and we know they will not drop out...if u lower it to 14 and still kick some u mite as well keep it at 16...dont make sence (if this is what u mean)

and like i been sayhing all along...teh # of squads droping out AFTER TWL is over will make up for the # of squads u want to drop out..no need to drop anyone
