And another thing... if you're having trouble getting on a decent squad, it's possible that you're not as good as you think you are.

I've had a lot of people say stuff like "I'm better than <so and so on pallies> so I deserve to be in"

1. if you're saying this, you're probably not getting in because you're a jackass.

2. just becuase you're a better wb than mayo inc. doesn't mean much

Plus don't ignore luck as well. For example just because you beat Randedl in wb once, that doesn't mean you can do it again, or that even if you can, that doesn't mean you can just automatically waltz into Melee. Replace Randedl with any applicable name.

This is esp. true in stuff like baseelim, where there are multiple players.

Yeah, I don't remember if I mentioned this but basically any squad worth being on doesn't ever take someone based purely on skill.

About learn to shark ... most of the people underestimate the skills involved in sharking. I get picked as shark in more than 30 ?go base games. And guess what? I am still a sucky shark!!! (although shark is not my main ship).

Besides what kind of experienced cap would trust an unknown player to shark??
