Ur rite the skilled squads would probably make it , but i imagine since it was announced that they are reseting again, certain squads went out and played soem stupid games they normaly wouldnt of played and lost soem rating points. So now since it was announced its basicaly useless to fight the reset.

All you people are saying it's going to take a month for the ladder to settle, but it's still not even reset.. let's start the damn thing, give it a month and then start twl. this argument's been going on forever, but twd still isn't reset, so let's just start there.

Because they want to update the bots before they reset it. Which is the point of the new reset.

If we can just give up on the bots we could reset it now and go.

If we just skipped the bots for now, they could be worked on while the league was underway, then next season new bots could be put in place without waiting a year for leagues. we could actually play an extra season.

Not to mention the bots could get the kinks worked out in the off season, which would be the summer, which is the prime time for offseason.

I agree, but u'd still have squads abusing the !sub command, or adding a 5th player when its 4v4, and in the end its techincaly cheating to get the win and if u get to many of them the ladders will be fuxed up. + the thing where it dont warp a guy in begining, them geting a 4-5 fer @ start (in javs) is soemtimes the difference in a game. Not even gonn aget started on ppl who are double squading, bc it will be found out and it will probably be a very large # of ppl who get warned or whatever they get once the new bots are in.

well as ive stated in countless posts, im all for TWL starting now .... but u also have to see cpts side of the question, he SEEMS (i dunno) to have been working hard on this and to have many new ideas that he`d like to implement, how would u feel if all uor work was in vain.

the abuse of the !sub and adding in 4v4's in very minor. You could appoint someone on staff to award free wins to any team that loses because of the !sub abuse (it's easy to tell, cause it ufcks up the stats) As for the 4v4 another person could be put in charge of looking for those games (or you could just not play teams you know will do that)

Well in reponse to Nickname, Cig is more concerned with those minor flaws messing up twd than twl (since all the twl games can be watchedand regulated and have any abuse reported like you say) and thus resulting in squads unfairly winding up in twl when they don't deserve it. But really, if a squad deserves a top 16 spot and wants it they'll be able to get it.

If Cpt is working on the bots and realistically will have them done in under a month ok, I'll wait and I'll love the dude for it when he gets them done. But if it's going to end up delaying the leagues 2-3 months, that just seems totally unnecessary.
