Sufficient, there was a vote about the 4 spider max for BWC and it was adopted with a majority vote. remember that when an opinion becomes shared by the majority its consensus(not fact, mind you).
Could you give me a better explaination on why you don't want to change the map? Bc, personally, I think you gave poor arguement on why we shouldn't change it.

Sufficient play a season where people don't use 5 spids and I think you'll find out how much fun it is. No1 seemed to be complaining after season 5, or making much fuss about people using 5 spiders. Once they were found that they ARE more powerful though, teams have HAD to addopt 5 spiders in order to compete, even the extremely skilled ones. It seems like last season was the first time people actually complained about ship numbers, and last season was the first time people used 5 spider consistantly (I believe wrs used 5 spiders the most season 5, but even that wasn't as much as every other squad does now... not sure).

If you think it's boring, don't use it- use whatever your team likes and figure out how to break it- this isn't zone defense here- it's kids at their computers playing in ship 3- the idea that because it was a successful lineup means it's unfair is crazy- the game is still played by the 16 barbarians at the console- it's not some higher truth lineup that can't be stopped.
As for your personal comments, you're right I was inactive for a spell there- but I'm pretty sure the five spider line didn't reach indefensible in the last few months, and I certainly didn't return to have this sort of facist (melodramatic div) dictation be put upon my basing bruvas.

Staying on topic, squads need a lineup in which to incorporate this change and do well with it. The basing map is fine as it is. 2 enterances would be silly, but enlarging the enterance is a good idea. Five spiders was or is a good idea, but the new spider limit forces some squads to contain a jav or wb. I see no problem in that since people in every squad might have a good wb or jav.LA

4 spiders and i jav is still boring to play against if they know how to perfect the cram with that lineup as well. Limiting the spiders won't make the game more fun, but being able to break the cram will. Spastic can easily play 4 spids and 1 wb/jav and still be able to outcram(that a word?) most squads in this game, so how is that more fun. I can tell you from my point of view, it wasnt fun at all when we played 4 spid 1 jav vs their 4 spid 1wb line, we got smashed. We barely got in base. Dont get me wrong, flag room battles are alot more fun with 4 spiders, but limiting the amount of spiders wont necessarily make it more fun. A map change sure as hell would help break the cram, but alot of people don't liek change, i.e. me, and i would rather keep the map the way it is, and try and break the cram efficiently with pure talent and practice, rather than ask the mods to do somethine to the arena to make it easier for me to win. Even tho i do prefer 4 spiders, i still think the reasons we are changing it is wrong. You'd all be having just as much fun as spastic is if you knew how to cram as well as they do.

Of course not Hellz, nobody said it would (some suggested it would, but we all know it can't). It's more for the creativity, the implimentation of other ships and the fun of fr battles the fun of lower battles and just the general fun of having a different skill involved factor put into place.
Pluss, I know exactly how to break a cram with two good sharks and a patient well timed jav now
And Div, there is a difference between boring and winning. Sure they find it boring, but 5 spiders is going to grab them the win, so why not just use it?

Wr vs Diso TWLB Cup
Round 1: Stuff happened and diso won.
Round 2: Called operation SHOCK AND AWE, WR brings 5 spiders into the game and absolutely hammerfucks diso. Score is tied 1-1.
Round 3: Diso regroups and also brings 5. Game is a nail biter, diso takes it by 10k or 15k.
Speaking as someone who played in the last two rounds of that cup, it was a blast. Trust me. 5 spiders isn't the problem. When we played diso last season they played 5 spiders, and again it was fun. 5 spiders isn't even the strength of the cram, it's the sharks. I probably won't be in leagues this year, so my opinion might not be worth much. I'd just rather a better fix be made.

After I came back from my inactivity, I was recruited on to NS and terr'ed in several TWL matches 3 years ago.
Then I got on A-S, I didn't participate in any TWLB matches because I couldn't be bothered to get up @ 5am. But I did play quite a few TWBD with A-S in terr/shark/spider.
TWBD with Spores in shark/terr
Now I am on Sk8, terr'ed 3 BD for them, won all 3 matches.

I) Cramming relies on good sharking skills, not number of spiders ... I mean 3 spiders and 4 spiders would make a difference, but little difference can be made between 4 spiders and 5 spiders.
II) It is harder to break a tight cram WITHOUT a jav.
III) If you think 5 spider basing games are boring, you can always start to play JDs/DDs. Basing is boring if you play it for too long, regardless it's 4 spiders or 5 spiders. But then again this is just my personal opinion.Wont die, no surrender 2

Shade's u kinda show in your example. Diso was forced to play 5 spids or they woulda got crushed again. It had nothing to do with their skill since diso has some of the best javs/wbs but they were forced in playing 5 spids because of the strength in the 5 spids. Theres acouple reasons why 4 spid max is a solution(may not be the right solution though). It is a solution because many people say 5 spids on 5 spids is boring....Also it forces people to play 5 spid lineups to level out the playing field.
