We were in complete control of the game, up two minutes, and in a FR battle. And approximately six minutes of server lag kicked in, making us lose well over SIX minutes into a match in which we lost 20 seconds to. We were in control of flag room battle when the server started acting up which ultimately resulted in us getting wiped out with 0 counter play. We couldn't even attack cram properly in the SIX minutes the server lag was happening and Unknown25 gained.
I am appealing this match with the consideration that if no server lag occurred, we would've won by far.

Even the teams that were down 5 minutes during the spike and came back and won? That's not fair at all...

Not sure what other teams who were dealing with the lag and ended up winning have to do with this game in particular being reversed.

doesn't really matter what happened before or after if the decision is made that the 20 seconds of lag were big enough of a problem to replay one game then they all need to be replayed because it happened in them all

It was way longer than 20 seconds, but regardless even with that over exaggeration, we lost by 20 seconds considering the whole time the lag was happening, the enemy had cram. Virtually impossible to even make it to mid-base.
Games between 1-4 marginal times should be replayed.

well if I was running dt I'd have killed all the games on the spot and restarted them like I did when it happened last season but on topic with an appeal you are pinpointing a specific event and using it as the basis for an argument in this case cripple is claiming the 20 seconds of lag caused him to lose fr and then lose 6 mins trying to get it back so if theres precedent set that the 20 seconds of lag is appeal worthy then all 5 matches get replayed on the same grounds its pretty obvious that it would need to work like that not sure why I even need to explain this when it should be common sense

just to be clear i dont really care if the games are replayed or not id prefer them not to be simply because i dont want to play more base matches but its not up to me

I understand that but if the lag affected only one team poorly and the other teams seemed to deal with it and managed to continue the game why should they all be replayed? Clearly this appeal shouldn't go through. The argument of them not being able to get back into the base 6 minutes after is on that team not the lag..

The server lag didn't last for 6 minutes. Maybe 1 minute max if even that. Turban calling 6 minutes net loss because of the fact we hold cram for 7 minutes after short server lag. I would say this is bs because you could break cram in 30 seconds as we did during the last minute of the game. I'm not even sure if you lost the fr battle because of the server lag as it was the same for everyone.

The server lag lasted for 30-60 secs at the beginning of the game, you had plenty of time to win it back. I would understand this appeal if the server lag kicked in during the last 1-2 minutes or last fr battle. But that wasn't the case.

If someone decides to approve this appeal for some ridiculous reason I'm more than happy to kick ur ass again.

1. If the lag was unacceptable, that's a call that needs to be made at the time by the organiser.

2. As far as I'm aware, all teams carried on playing to the end, and played to win.

3. In our match, lag occurred for 1-2 minutes when we were down on the clock. We'd have happily agreed to rematch at that juncture, but neither the opposing team nor the organiser asked us, so we played on.

4. This was temporary server lag that affected everyone the same. No team was uniquely disadvantaged.

Appealing due to server lag that everyone experienced is not a reason for an appeal. TWDT staff should've stopped games at that time if they were going to be replayed due to server lag, this is what we've done in the past. This wasn't done, all teams played with the same disadvantage. Game is old af, shit happens, get over it.

When you lost by 30 seconds THIRTY SECONDS T H I R T Y S E C O N D S in a match where server lag caused you to lose over 4 minutes of flag time, is a good reason for an appeal.

Dozens of games in the last twenty years of this game have been replayed because server lag effected the outcome, especially close games, this should NOT be any different.
